There wouldnt have been a Reagan presidency. RFK and Al Gore Sr would have signed the War Powers act and withdrawn from Vietnam.

The Middle East was a different story and Israel would have become more militant about occupation. There wouldnt be no Carter peace accord and there would of been suicide bombings in Israel. The Bushes made peace with Bin Laden, that caused 911. As a whole, no Reagan or Bushes, no 911 with Bin Laden. The country would have been better off with McCain as Prez or Dole as Prez or George Romney Sr, who would have succeeded Teddy or RFK presidency, not Nixon or Reagan or Bushes

Quite significant actually.  Some form of universal healthcare passes in 1970.  Even if RFK only serves 1 term, Justices Warren, Fortas, Black and Harlan all get replaced by Dem appointees, basically assuring that the Supreme Court remains left-leaning until at least the 1990's.  As a result, the labor movement would probably not go into such decline during 1980-2000.  Social issue "modernity" would come about faster and more decisively.
