Title: Opinion of the Christian Coalition
Post by: nclib on January 08, 2006, 10:59:19 PM
Just curious what percentage of Republicans here support it.

Of course, I vote Option 2.

Has this organization ever endorsed a Democrat in its history?  Does anyone know?

I accidentally voted option 1. Yuck!

Option 2 obviously. Move a vote there.

No. Officially, they have never endorsed a Republican either. To do so would result in them losing their tax exempt status. But we all know who they do always support all the time.

They are advocates of theocracy, Philip.  You should familiarize yourself with them, as they largely control the party which you support.

I will say horrible people - they appear to be a group that simply wishes to promote their own issues and use the guise of being 'Christian' in order to do so.

The Christian Coalition is a bunch of terrorists, pure and simple.

Anyone who financially supports this organization needs to have their bank accounts frozen.

What do they do, exactly?

They support terrorism by supporting bullying in schools. In the state of Washington, they defeated a bill that would have prevented bullying.

That was a terrorist, treasony act on the Christian Coaliton's part, and this is why I support having its members jailed.

I believe the poll shows the tolerance level of the left. If we were talking about the muslim coalition than the poll would show great approval from the libs.

No, a good liberal would despise all religions, though admittedly the christains are far more dangerous than the muslims.

Any good liberal would accept the role that religion can play in the lives of each individual. As for who is more 'dangerous' ANY religion taking to its fundamental extremes whether you are Osama or Fred Phelps is inherently dangerous.

I would much prefer a moderate Muslim to an extremist Christian.

Oh c'mon dude, we're pretty much on a similar page when it comes to religion, but you know that's not true.  Did Jerry Falwell fly a kamakazi jet into Mecca?

The Christians control the government of the United States, TakeOurCountryBack - they're who you need to take it back from.  I feel quite secure in asserting that those in control of the Empire and its military do far more damage than a few plane-hijackers.  Not to mention they oppress us domestically to a horrendous degree, something no muslim has the power to do.

Opebo, muslims wouldn't let you molest children either, so keep up your dreaming.

Regardless, Hawky, they are not in control of anything to speak of.  The Christians control the Empire and run the world.

Most are good people. The one I probably can't stand the most is Ralph Reed.  Also, I wish some of them (aka Robertson) would keep their mouthes shut.

Somewhat good.

I just can't stand the "Christian" conservatives who shove their corporatist agenda down people's throats prclaiming it to be Christian.  What a joke.

It's funny watching the Respinelescans respond to this. Fellow neo-cons, grow a pair of freaking balls. Stop putting in discalimers such as "I disagree with them but.....". If you back them up then go all the way. Be proud and don't be frightened by pathetic, lib, weeny, intolerant, anti-God, Democrats.

Amen.

No they shouldn't have any rights, they're a political organization that gets tax breaks they don't deserve.

You're a Republican from Virginia and you don't know what the Christian Coalition is?

Phil, are you having fun with words? :)

Horrible, horrible people who pervert the Bible to satisfy their own agenda.

Amen to that
