Title: Other country electoral maps?
Post by: TommyC1776 on June 18, 2004, 02:44:05 PM
I know there's already a board about this, but no one answered my question.  I just wondered, has anyone made any electoral maps of other countires?

Take a look at http://www.kmdvalg.dk/ if you want to see the electoral boundaries in Denmark, but remember that we haven't go FPTP, so an electoral map isn't that informative (No easy decodable colours :(

www.aec.gov.au

It has a massive linked map ith clickable links to every seat in parliament; its colourcoded and it's overnment run so it is reputable and has its facts very straight.

I am a huge fan of the AEC :)

http://www.nrc.nl/redactie/Doc/TK03/grootstepartij.shtml (http://www.nrc.nl/redactie/Doc/TK03/grootstepartij.shtml)

This (clickable) map shows the largest party per municipality in the Netherlands for the general elections of 2003, but since for the calculation of the distribution of seats the results of all municipalities are added up, this is only useful for information purposes. The same as for Denmark, I think. :).
