GOP/Dem

I have decided to finally made the painful decision to get behind KBH after watching the Senate debate. I still plan on voting for John Courage (D-TX21) in my House race.

My ballot came in the mail yesterday, and I've already filled it out. No Senate race, obviously, but I voted for DeFazio (D) in the House race. I'm proud to have him as my congressman. :)

I get to vote in two meaningful races:
Kean for Senate (though I expect he'll lose by 5%)
and Ferguson (NJ7) for Congress (he should win by 3%)

Amy Klobuchar, DFL- I didn't want Amy to get the nomination.  I liked Ford Bell better.  But I think Amy will be a great senator.

Patty Wetterling, DFL- Patty will bring integrity and good ethics to congress.  This is a woman who is so honest and really cares about people.  She will fight for better child protection, more education funding, better benefits for veterans, better health care...

I honestly fear the day that Michele Bachmann goes to Washington.  The woman is a power hungry extremist nut job.  She clawed her way into a school board position and then into a state senate seat.  Her main accomplishments were well... a failed attempt to put a ban on gay marriage on the ballot and funding charter schools that promote religious agendas.

Who knows what her angry, hateful god will tell her to do next.  Which is why she needs to lose this election.  She is dangerous to America.

Senate: No race
House: Joe Wilson (R)

I'm not a big Wilson fan but he's facing the same two jokers who ran against him in 2004 and if anything the quality of his opposition has deteriorated in the past two years.  Since Wilson got 65% of the vote in 2004, I expect him to win easily, especially since one of his opponents is running this time as a write-in instead of on the Constitution Party line.
