Title: Which of the two preceding poster's cities would you rather live at?
Post by: Platypus on November 21, 2006, 03:12:51 PM
Pretty simple. Which of the two preceding poster's cities would you rather live in?

Please, also post your home town when responding.

Hmm, I wouldn't mind visiting Melbourne, but I probably wouldn't want to move abroad any time soon, so I'll go with Williamsburg.

Dayton, Ohio

Williamsburg.  Dayton's nice, but Williamsburg's got the history and the theme park.

Medford, Massachusetts (just outside of Boston)

38 degrees and humid as all hell yesterday here Joe ;). That said, today will be 22 degrees (72 fahrenheit) with a light bushfire haze clearing as the day goes on. Rest of the week staying in the 20s. We have had an odd weather week-starting off with freezing winds straight up from the bottom, then knocking into hot wind from up north, creating really, really windy conditions; we'd also been waiting for about 5 days on a huge storm that never eventuated, although we did get a little bit of rain. Melbourne weather is very, very good; but also very, very unpredictable. There is a saying that Melbourne has 'four seasons in a day', and it's not too far from the truth.

Bangor, Wales. Two reasons: Welsh heritage and no desire to live in Dayton, Ohio whatsoever. ;)

Have you ever actually been to San Francisco?  Seriously, people overrate how "horrible" it is to live in places of different political ideology.  The only people who talk politics with people who they have just met - or insist on talking about it around people whom they disagree with - are annoying people.

Really? Most intriguing. Living here generally requires that you be one of black, Hispanic or very wealthy (here overlapping heavily with Jewish). Or me, who is none of the above.

Norwalk's a nice place, but I'll give benefit of the doubt to Melbourne, which I've never been to.

What exactly is an "emo place"?

And I have no idea about strip clubs, but if there isn't one in Englewood, I guarantee there's one nearby (Probably in Fort Lee).

Edit: I like you so much, I did the research for you. There are three strip clubs nearby, one each in Hackensack, South Hackensack and Lodi. There's also a male strip club in South Hackensack if you're into that sort of thing :P

Skip.

Stores that sell emo vinyl records and venues where such bands play.
