Title: GM Thread
Post by: Bacon King on November 18, 2007, 09:25:35 PM
I'll post announcements and such here.

Please participate in the newly established Constitutional Convention (https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=65169.0).

While not a GM announcement, persay, I will be finishing the history of Antillia over Thanksgiving, you should expect it to be completed by Friday. This will give a complete overview of Antillian history up to the start of the game. Also might add a few more random information pages, Transportation in Antillia, the Antillian Military, and such, during the next week or so.

I would like to inquire as to whether or not this can be Wiki'd

Ummm...as GM could you answer whether Francophones and Portuguese are more conservative/liberal than English speakers?

Francophones are more liberal, while Portuguese are borderline fascists.

Francophones are more liberal,

Really? I though Robera was extremely conservative and the other two Francophone provinces were moderate.

Well, in most countries, Francophones tend to be more liberal.

Not in the US. Cajuns are among the most conservative people around. Also, where do Indians and Blacks fit on the Antillian political spectrum?

Not many blak=cks, but Indians tend to be liberal if higher income, and socialist if lower income.

Thanks for the info. Now I can conduct the first Antillian civil union poll. The results were:

OVER ALL        ENGLISH      FRENCH      PORTUGUESE         INDIAN

SUPPORT:          71%               71%             65%               44%                   80%

OPPOSE:            28%              29%             27%                56%                  17%

You can't make up numbers that is the realm of the GM, who is Bacon King. He is the only one with that power. Nor can you make up historical, geographic, demographic, or cultural "facts" as those are my territory since I created this godforsaken island.

Are you missing something? Like the numbers you made up in your "poll" about civil unions.
