Title: How do I post pictures from my computer?
Post by: JSojourner on January 01, 2008, 06:18:39 PM
Hi gang!

I know I am supposed to use this format to post pictures...

[img*]http://INSERT THE URL OF YOUR PICTURE HERE[/img]

But my pictures are simply saved to my hard drive in the "my pictures" file.  I have a commercial web site, but I would rather not mix political, humorous or other pics with it.

Any advice?

I do realize there is an old thread on this, but I didn't see anything about posting from your computer.  Just from a web site URL.  Do I need to have a web site in order to post pics?  I am sure I'm missing something.

Keep in mind, I know less about computers than Homer Simpson.  And I am not as bright!  Be gentle...

I recommend using a free image host, such as Imageshack  (http://www.imageshack.us/)or Photobucket (http://s118.photobucket.com/), to upload your images.

Can someone help me? Every time I copy the link from the EV calc, it is too long. I'm pretty bad at computers, so if someone could help me, that would be great.
