To look up your precinct, go to SmartVoter (http://www.smartvoter.org/), and select 2004. The example I looked up (San Jose City Hall) was Precinct 1337; it should be formatted like that. 2008 (est) 99k people growth: 59% 2000: 75% White, 22% Black 2008 (est) 59% White, 35% Black growth of White population: about 25% growth of Black population: about 133% Not that it's getting ghetto or anything. All but the outer fringes of the southern 40% or so of the Atlanta Metro is Black, and Newton is ceasing to be outer fringes. Seems the town where you live is still full of outer suburban Whites. I don't think redistricting changed the number of the precinct so its probably correct.
