Dockers and a Polo style shirt

Pretty regular office uniform for Thailand - dark grey slacks, dark pink (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pink#Dark_pink), slightly heathered button down shirt.  Actually black slacks and any form of muted but colorful shirt, often with subtle stripes, is pretty much the thai office uniform.  Jackets are not worn here on an everyday basis.

Well, as I'm sure you intended that did not help.  I'm just as ignorantof 'kit' as 'strip' when it comes to mens' blousing.  But now that he mentioned 'football jersey', I have some rough idea.

By the by, as it is now 'off duty hours' I took my five-thirty shower (two showers a day a must for Thailand outside the 4 cool months) and have now donned a red seventies polo in lieu of the dress shirt, and also jettisoned the black dress slip-ons for brown flip flops.

Actually I thought you might be more familiar with the term. So Americans use neither kit nor strip. Interesting,.

No, for us 'strip' means to take off clothing, and 'kit' means something you build yourself from a collection of parts, or just a collection of things to be used together, like a 'First Aid Kit'.

I guess there's an obvious connection there somewhere.

As for me at the moment I'm wearing roomy pleated Thai black dress slacks, a soft dark green asian polo (with three buttons and a pocket - not like those horrible polos sold nowadays in the US), and one black and one red flip flop.

Those same dark olive-green dress pants but now dirty and rolled up almost to my knees, a Buick of Manitoba black thrift store T-shirt, a grey 'hoodie', and blue & tan flip flops.  We had a deluge all evening, including flooded streets, so my attire suffered.  I even had to wade in the flood!  Hope I don't get any parasites.

Dark grey laundered woolen trousers, long sleeved brown brocade Chinese polo shirt, heavy, blue V-neck sweater, white socks, destroyed black converse knock-offs.  When I get back on the bike I'll add a huge green plaid scarf, a heavy black windbreaker, a giant hand-knitted black woolen cap, and american convenience store brown gloves with the red inside - its cold here these days, down to 58-60 at night.

I suppose that does sound awfully Ignatious O'Reilly..

Very soft, roomy black Asian trousers, a khaki green polo, and a dark brown zippered jogging top with orange arm-stripes..  And worn blue flip flips. 

Just felt too comfortable tonight, I had to share it.. perhaps part of the reason is it has finally been cool for a few days due to rainy season.. had been so hot before that.

Funny that this topic is bumped right now, since I've certainly never dressed so 'trashy'.

A grey very light kind of jeans as trousers, of which I've cut the bottom parts so that it stops to the ankle and of which the top right leg is torn and opened on 2 rectangles of about 3 and 2 inches wide, with a strip of tissue of an half inch in between. And it is also torn on one or both legs of the behind part of it, under pockets.

And well, top is an old shirt, beige with blue stripes, kinda Canadian style, but softer, I like it, of which I've rolled the sleeves up. And this one has 2 big enough holes in the back, on the shoulder blades (I think that's the right name) level, and which is only shut by 2 buttons on the front part, yeah, others have left me, the last one to leave was yesterday, then I've it opened till the bottom of the chest.

And, nothing else. Well, home stuffs. :P. And with the warm, it's kinda good.

That's what we call 'chemise canadienne' in French, of which the literal translation is 'Canadian shirt'.

Oh, I fear I couldn't answer for the whole population. I would guess a good proportion of them buy clothes with holes because it's fashion nowadays and have been all along the last decade. A fashion which has I already said kinda pisses me off.

Then that's not my case, in my particular case, well, that's just that I've kept some that I worn a lot, and well, so it goes. Nothing very fantastic in that I think. And also, sometimes when you get bored and wearing those worn stuffs, you pull a thread, and, oh fun, it opens the hole more, oh so fun to continue, let's open it more. Stuffs like that.

For holes in the back of a few my old tops, it's because of something, well, haha, particular.

I have so many clothes, and move so listlessly, that I don't believe I've worn out a garment in decades.

Ha ha, that job would require at least a cursory understanding of the contents of your average computer.  But alas, the gadgets and whirligigs contained within each contraption remains a mystery to me.

Besides, I didn't move from Ohio to Las Vegas for an exciting new career in fixing people's computers.

Oh well, for me it's not a question of money, it's just that well, and especially during a time of my life from which these clothes come, I was like 'not worn out? still ok'. And still, I'm a bit like that. I'm not the kind to buy clothes to have more choice to dress, more buy when need.

Oh, still home stuffs today, more decent though, kinda khaki green trousers (damn, it's was a 7 euros one bought in a supermarket, very decent for the cost though, but when I come to think to how they could have achieved such a price... I'm not the kind to buy really cheap clothes usually and this for this reason, this one was the only time, well, that was here, and I needed one then, and anyhow even stuffs like Hugo Boss make their clothes in low wages countries then...). And an other old plaid shirt long sleeves rolled up, blue dominant this time, all buttons, yeah! And no holes! Well just a small one in the bottom back of the shirt.

What on earth?  You moved to Las Vagas?  Your life is a complete mystery to me.  In the first place, I thought you were a teenager or early 20-something, so I can't see how you would get a job at all, and in the second place I thought Las Vegas had collapsed economically so that there were no jobs.

Well I never received an answer from JR about the Las Vagas thing, but I'm bumping this thread. 

It is raining a LOT here lately, so I've been experimenting with various wet-weather outfits.  I have a big orange poncho which fully covers my upper torso and head, so only the trousers are the only issue, and heavier pants such as khakis get too heavy when wet and take too long to dry out.  I dug up a pair of old gray seventies-ish 100% polyester pants, and they're great for wet weather - dry out quickly.

So, green three button polo with pocket, old light-gray polyester pants, a navy blue light windbreaker, and red traditional Thai all-rubber flip-flops.  The poncho's with the bike.

Decent clothes:

Dark blues jeans.

Blue T-shirt, softer blue, and not in cotton, of this kind of matter that can be football jerseys, well I checked the label on it, it says 100% polyester, and well, 'Made in Laos'. One-colored blue, with a small 'Umbro' logo, that is typically the stuff I wouldn't have bought myself, but once offered I don't mind to wear it at all.

Black rubber flip-flop, just slightly more expensive than the Thai ones, I remember, it was last year in the middle to end of summer, I was looking for good solid flip-flops, but couldn't find anything left, then I took this, for 3€ it's ok.

Nothing else, as sometimes, it happens.

Dark blue washed wool dress trousers, very roomy, with a worn out soft old medium brown polo shirt with some thin light grey & burgundy horizontal stripes.  and green Thai rubber flip flops.

Tonight I'm wearing very dark brown second hand Asian pleated  cotton-blend trousers, a hideous busy golf-polo, with a diagonal plaid of blue-green and dark-blue with a bit of yellow in it (eminently comfortable though), and green Thai rubber flip-flops.  Rainy days here in Thailand, cool humid weather.. been using my light windbreakers a lot.

Classical blue jeans, with softer blue than usual jeans, due in part to wear, I like when the blue is this shade.

Old yellow T-shirt, bought in 1999, just before going to the music festival of Francofolies de La Rochelle (one of the big ones in France). 11 years later, still here, but really worn out, small holes in the top back.

And well, since days are freshy nowadays, and since I'm not far from the open window from which sometimes comes a freshy wind, blue fleece jacket over the t-shirt. Fleece jackets are an other of these stuffs that I wouldn't have bought myself, offered too then, but well, that remains convenient, and not unpleasant to wear.

I can't stand most blue-jean dungarees, and in particular the Levis 501 type - they're a ridiculous shape, riding low and gripping all one's nether's tightly.  The height of discomfort.  True, I wear my trousers low, but I wear roomy, full cut big pocket trousers a size or so bigger than I would have to.  Perhaps my 'balls' are 'freeer' than yours even with my decent and proper J.C. Penney traditional boxers (usually the most expensive item in my ensemble).

Speaking of which.. though I'm in my office, it is late night and holiday time, and the door is locked, so I have set my trousers on the desktop, leaving me attired in same with just a fine collectible brown 70s polo and my red office sandals - the kind without the thing between the toes.

Btw, Bunoawah, you sound very French in your attire.  As I understand it the French to not wear second hand clothes.  Why is this?

Just a pair of shorts, at the moment. I do need to get dressed and get something to eat, though, before I start cleaning my house today. Once I find the energy to get out of bed, it'll be a t-shirt, jeans and flip-flops.

Oh they do, I would even say that became more and more trendy during the last decade, especially for girls, and a kind of 'second-hand/vintage clothes fashion'  really rose, but still mainly for girls, and well, for a kind of girls mainly.

Though, if it grew during the last years it's not yet a reflex still yes, French remain Western (well, human beings) consumers who would first go to the shop for new items. And I must say I'm kinda the same, when I need clothes I rarely have the second-hand shops reflex, I know some, and some good ones, with not expensive good second-hand clothes in it, but dunno, I rarely go when I need clothes.

Great point, and you're exactly right.  My mistake.  I guess I would like to focus in this thread on ones obsession with one's clothes, not with one's abs or balls.

Today I'm wearing a very old and worn pair of roomy Dockers, my blue Death Cab For Cutie T-shirt (with an aeroplane on it), and a pair of black and neon green flip-flops.  (oh and I have to admit I am 'free balling', but not because of homosexuality - rather, I actually shat my boxers earlier due to diarrhea.. come to think of it that does sound a bit gay).

Actually wore a good sized London Fog khaki jacket and black woolen scarf as well on the motorbike on the way to the office this evening - it has been getting down into the sixties at night lately.

Wow!  A true member of the elite - or perhaps not:  isn't it considered lower-class to refer to that dinner jacket suit or 'black tie' as a 'tux'?  Anyone know what is the correct (upper-class) term?  Perhaps its just 'dinner jacket'. 

How much was your tux?  And is it your only tuxedo? I noticed you referred to it as 'a' black tux, perhaps you have several.

Oh and not to neglect - I'm currently 'at work' in the sense that it is afternoon and I'm at the office (though interestingly I'm the only one here).  I'm wearing standard more or less Dockers style medium dark blue cotton trousers, and a cotton dress shirt with a very light check of pale green, white, and gray, black socks and brown sandals.

As you know, black tie is a dress code, the jacket being the major component.  In the U.S., to my knowledge, the  jacket is usually referred to as a tuxedo, or tux for short.  This is the 21st century.  I believe most people likely use the shortened term.  The term dinner jacket I believe is used mainly in Commonwealth countries.  More than one tux?  No.  More than one tie?  Yes.

What a relief.  I opened this thread dreading some mention of your free balls or 'rippled' torso.  Though 'decently' is mysterious.  Could be anything from a business suit to a ball gown.

I'm currently rather boring in a medium greenish taupe old style dockers (from the mid 80s I actually do believe - yes I think dockers are that old), and a nice Gant blue/red/gray plaid long sleeve button down.  Gant shirts are very nice I find.

I think that is really cool. In New York, Manhattan esp., you have so many people from throughout the country/world, plus two teams that you do not get the same widespread support. Jet fans are very dedicated and crazy but you just don't get the same market penetration you do.

Extremely thin and light old dark brown Haggar Magic Stretch polyester and cotton slacks from the USA, with the cuffs cut off, dark gray canvas belt, an old Gwo Yuan brand (I think Gwo Yuan is Korean) light blue/cream/light burgundy striped polo with three button placket and breast-pocket (I hate a polo without a proper placket and pocket), a lightweight ultra-soft old gray 'hoodie', and the usual beat up blue flip flips.

These old favorite flip flops of mine (I do have dozens of flip flops) have a story behind them - I actually stole them in Laos.  I was in Vientiane and had just bought some new obnoxious touristy flip-flops out of necessity, but I saw these old beat up worn down workman's flip flops outside of a construction area of the hotel.  I left my new ones behind and took his, hoping the work man would be pleased as mine were newer.  I'd have gladly paid him as well but he wasn't visible.  Nothing like the patina and authenticity of use!

Really nice super-full cut Haggar flat-front poly-blend trousers (probably early eighties, from the States), in a tasteful shade of dark brown, with some little subtle waist-expanders in the side like you see in Haggar's and others of that era, so they're amazingly comfortable... a kind of Chinese Uncle second hand Thai polo (narrow horizontal stripes of cream, light blue, and red) with three buttons and a pocket (as polos were meant to be), an old busted up leather belt, and yellow and black $3 Thai flip-flops.  When I hope on the motobike to head home here in a moment I'll also don a black hooded ultra-light wind/rain breaker.

Very well broken in and discolored in variegated ways old pair of dark-gray/brownish flat-front chinos held up by a brown-n-tan cloth belt, a worn pastel green with blue and red highlights horizontally striped Brooks Brother's 1980s polo (complete with three button placket and pocket), and a pair of Thai knockoff Havaianas hard rubber bright yellow flip-flops.

Rather sadly, I'm still dressed from work at 10:48 PM, the exigencies of toils preventing me from returning home for the 5 PM shower and change which should be the right of everyone in the tropics.  But, happily it was not hot the last few days.

I'm lounging about the office on a Friday night in that same pair of grayish-brownish trousers (now a bit ripe!  I do wear trousers quite a few times before the laundry), a white late-70s polo with smallish aquamarine or turquoise horizontal stripes (and very faint pink horizontal pinstripes), a pair of red Thai-rubber flip-flops (farmer flip-flops), and a brown-n-tan cloth belt.

I was slightly tipsy earlier and knocked over a heavy Coke bottle at the restaurant, and then stepped on it with these thick rubber sandals - no prob.  Very very unusual for me to be tipsy, but I had eaten big bag of ultra salty fried insects and was so thirsty I downed a large bottle of ice-cold Leo Beer fresh from the ice-chest at a local store.

Tonight I'm on the road going town to town on an old motorbike, the weekend holiday - only a few days.  

I'm wearing a favorite old somewhat scarred pair of dark brown poly/cotton work pants.. a bit like Dickies but a much older more 70s look.  I think they might be Big Mac.  With this a kind of second hand Korean or Chinese polo, in a deep royal blue with a very subtle barely visible light aqua plaid inlaid, and a multicolored shark on the breast - I think it is 'Shark Brand'.  Neat shirt despite having only a two button placket and no breast-pocket.  A dark brown/black reversible soft-leather belt and some beat-up old black (standard) Converse with no socks, and to top it all off a very light rain-resistant black hooded windbreaker.

I basically wear a v-neck t-shirt or a polo, dark navy skinnies, and brown boat shoes every day. Once it gets colder I'll start wearing shirts + sweaters every day instead.

OK, but do these boat shoes have the proper traditional white rubber soles?  Because I don't hold with the non-white soles.

Where did you find such traditional looking boat shoes without the brand name disfigurement?  Last I looked for boat shoes back in the Bad Place was maybe 4 years ago, and I couldn't find any that weren't altered from the proper, traditional design in some way. I can't abide such divergences from traditional styles.

Right now I'm in that self-same pair of dark brown polyester workmen's trousers (I checked last time I had them off and they are 'Todd' brand.. perhaps its a uniform?), and a medium blue Haley brand golf shirt from the Shreveport Country Club. It has a subtle orange and ecru ticking in a rectangular plaid inlaid.  Still with the rough old Converse and a soft-to-the-point-of-worn-out leather belt.  I also find it very hard to find an appealing belt.

I'm dressed a bit atypically today, in that I'm wearing a T-shirt.  No, not a 'band T-shirt', but one of those thrift store T-shirts with the name of a home-town on it.  Not actually a little-league team though, just the name of the town.  The shirt is a dark blue with deep red lettering saying 'Harrisburg' - the color combo is really kind of dizzying.  With this I'm wearing a sort of old thrift-purchased flat-front khaki chinos, and a pair of black-and-tan Thai flip-flops - the odd kind with the cloth straps.  Not my favorite kind of flip flops as they were purchased in a shopping mall rather than a local market.

It's a party where you have to trade away your clothes, so of course one "disrobes". I never found anything worthwhile to trade my pants for though so I didn't reach any spectacular levels of kinkiness. (there was a guy who kept pestering me, trying to trade my pants for the pantyhose he had traded his pants for. I didn't oblige him)

Btw, I have to admit this is one of the rare occasions when I have nothing on at all - sorry guys.  But I always have to sit in front of the fan for about 10 minutes at least after taking a shower here in humid, tropical Thailand - this is a 'universal male practice' according to my Thai friends, which is a necessity for avoiding fungals in ones jungles - basically 'jock itch' or ringworm.  (That said, it has been breezy and cool all day, so 'winter' is coming.. of course by cool I mean a daytime high in the lower eighties).

I think consenting adults having fun together beats exploitation based on unjust power structures. But I'm no reactionary, of course. It's more good natured fun than any sort of sex orgy anyway.

Some boxer shorts, kinda Hawaiian in the draw but not in the colors, it's brown and full of little white flowers. A pair of very high sport socks (white indeed), goes almost till the knee.

A white comfy fitted-sheet folded in the middle and put around my waist, shut by 3 yellow clothes pins along the legs.

A dark grey cotton T-shirt (organic cotton please, crazy how the price of it became cheap here, for T-shirts at least, but even for some jeans when you compare it to about 10 years ago...).

And over it, a hand-made jacket in thick wool made by my mother when she was young, for my father, borrowed it before it finishes in a second-hand shop after their divorce, a nice white/beige as the main color with brown friezes that look like made of big pixels all over it, quite nice, looks kinda like the good old 'French hippie' look, but not too much, slightly sticky, fits well, anyways good when temps are a not so hot (about 5 in the night nowadays). Shut till the chin by a safety pins.

The sheet is not so great to walk with and do things though, but doable.

Needs to wash some things. ^^. But that's quite comfy.

At the moment I'm on a little 4 day mini holiday (or long weekend as they call them, alas), wearing a real all cotton heavily frayed old Madrass plaid shirt in muted pastel yellows, teals, purples, etc., from the USA second-hand, with green-khaki Asian (perhaps Thai, perhaps Korean) trousers from the second hand market here in Thailand, and a pair of black and electric-green flip-flops. 

I'm on the beach so no need for a jacket at the moment, but upcountry is definitely jacket weather in the evenings now.

Ah well, long time I haven't had one of those little devices in my hands, so can't do one right now, and anyhow I don't have a full body mirror here. Just be sure it's great. ;D

I just got back from a political Christmas party so I have grey slacks, a blue jacket, and of course a holiday tie. Tonight my tie selection was a pattern of Christmas lights on a red background. And no, they didn't light up.

Actually a little oil is better than dry flyaway hair, and for sure pasty unsunned skin is far healthier than the alternative, but I agree with you that too-tight or too-baggy clothes are stupid. (and while I've never smoked a cigarette, I find it to be cool and the condemnation of smoke to be the height of prudery).

Earlier in the day, the shirt was cotton, there was a tie (made of the objectively correct material for such things; wool), and a dark brown jumper. Back in the day (my day) - the eighties and nineties, and very early 2000s, before the severe poverty that is now the norm, one could easily find all sorts of good things in american thrift stores or second hand shops as they are called there.  I wonder nowadays if anything's changed.  Visiting second hand stores is practically the only thing I miss about the US.

It is still very chilly here - down to about 55 at night - so I'm wearing a fairly lightweight pair of blue/grey corduroys held up by a tan cloth belt, a sort of dark orange/brown plaid Chinese uncle long sleeved polo (3 button placket, breast pocket, very soft and comfy), topped off with a fairly heavy lambs-wool dark blue cardigan with pockets.  Oh, and black converse, but still without socks - its not that cold.  Of course I also don a jacket and scarf for when riding the motorbike.

I'm wearing black jeans too (not precisely black, but close) - and I can't say I like it.  These are my only pair of jeans and though I get compliments on them, I just don't find jeans comfortable.  I'm a slacks or trousers man, and best of all are corduroys.

Oh, besides, the jeans, I have a brown/green checked long sleeved button-down, a v-necked dark blue pullover sweater, and hanging on the back of the chair, a fairly heavy khaki jacket. Still cold here.

Some good old navy blue poly-ester pants.. maybe from the late seventies or very early eighties.. a nice eighties brown/red/green plaid short sleeve button-down in muted tones (Wedgefield brand), a dark brown lightweight cardigan with a swastika on the lapel (a Buddhist one, not a Nazi one) and a yellow band on one arm, and good old well-worn light blue Converse with no socks.  Yes, the weekend.

Amazingly good-quality asian (maybe Chinese or Korean?) second hand dress pants in a kind of very dark near-navy blue, a Daniel Cremieux long sleeved button-down dress shirt in an unusual green plaid with hints of red and blue, dark brown belt and shoes.  Whole outfit cost me less than $20 I guess, which is normal for me, but I think I come off looking rather just-so for the office.  Get a lot of compliments.

The last couple of days I broke out a 70's acrylic golf cardigan I've hardly ever worn, despite owning for a decade.  Its a strange yellowy-green color, something you'd only see in the 70s, and I've always been a bit doubtful about it.  I'm also wearing a vibrant medium blue hospital orderly's polo with the hospital insignia on the breast, and dark brown trousers, with a cloth belt and black low-top converse, sockless.

And I actually got a compliment from a Thai girl at a hip coffeeshop on my weird sweater!

I find that trotting out pieces of clothing from decades ago can indeed generate compliments from those too young to see the clothes as old and tired.

At the moment I'm very 'professional' in a nice pair of charcoal gray dress trousers (I'm finding more of them finally in the second hand here, used to have only the one pair, now 2-3. can at last and with relief give the black a rest), a kind of dark green checked shirt with a bit of burgundy and white in the check - its a Puritan brand, a brand of which I used to be dubious, but now I'm wondering if it was in fact associated with J.C. Penney, an excellent store -  topped with a nice dark blue Chinese cardigan sweater, and finished off with brown leather belt and brown open shoes and dark blue socks.

On holiday!  I'm wearing dark khaki-green cargo shorts, alas I don't know the brand, and a very nice and spiffy genuine 1970s light blue short sleeve button down with small white vertical stripes and a big collar!  Don't worry it has a placket though.  Finishing this ensemble, black and bright neon-green flip-flops.

It's Friday, so I'm just wearing the usual. Jeans from somewhere, AE or Old Navy. Brown polo, steel toe boots, and that's about it. I've quickly learned that I don't need to dress up too much unless senior company officers come into town.

My favorite pair of dark brown dress pants (Haggar of course) - I finally took them to the seamstress to have them taken in a bit, so now they're still very roomy but not ridiculously so.  Topped off with a very nice quality light blue buttondown Nautica shirt with a hint of purplish or dark blue check, black belt and shoes.  Very comfortable outfit, though earlier there was a downpour and I had to don a black hooded rain-jacket as well.

What kind of slacks are warm enough for this weather?  Woolen slacks (perhaps in a plaid)?  Or corduroy 'slacks'?

As for myself, today very boring - classic 'farang ajarn' (honkey master): voluminous khaki pants, dark blue dress shirt with a fine light blue/grey check in it, black belt, black 'sandals', black socks.

Today I showed up for my first class at one PM, after my students messaged me in the morning 'ajarn do we have class today?'  Big mistake - only 5 out of 27 students showed, and we were just about the only people in the entire building!  Thais always take their holidays to mean basically a week before and after the actual scheduled holiday, and just skip out of the office.  So, a 5 day weekend around New years becomes - off from about 22 December to about 6 January.  (to top that off we have midterm weeks coming up, and we never actually give any midterms, so those are weeks off too!)

Old laundered wool dress pants from the thrift market here in charcoal grey, not sure how long they'll last, as laundered wool pants don't usually last more than a few months, held up by a really crappy medium brown Thai 'leather' belt.. a green gray large-pane long-sleeved plaid shirt from the early 1980s, with a bit of burgundy and light blue piping in the plaid as well, a navy blue acrylic golf sweater, and old worn out off-white converse low-tops with no socks.

I also have a medium weight coat with me for on the motorbike - getting down into the lower 60s here at night.

English khakis, a white polo shirt,  smart wool socks, and Donald Pliner loafers.

Sounds a little chilly even in South Carolina, in January.  A short sleeved polo with no sweater or jacket?

Btw, I approve, everyone, of the pajama pants.  I've taken to wearing them now that I have a house and don't feel comfortable traipsing about the place entirely naked.

But now I'm still out, wearing the faithful old destroyed washed wool pants, a plaid tan and light blue flannel, and a dark blue hoodie, with 'Facebook' flip-flops.

Simfan, I agree that prehaps Duke's preppie look is a bit 'too correct'.  Duke I would recommend that you 'mix it up a bit'.  Basically preppie but with some 'unique' bits.  For example, get a retro preppie item from a thrift store to set off your ensemble.  I used to buy really ancient but quite cool corduroy and tweed jackets, sometimes with elbow pads..

Well it's 8 degrees with a -6 windchill so i'm in a sweater with a turtle neck underneath, dress slacks.

It's insanely cold.

At the moment is almost 2:00 AM and I'm in an airconditioned room, so its tolerable, but all day it was about 100 degrees here.  Insupportable.  So, I'm wearing a pair of large, voluminous shorts made from black dockers pants (they make shorts from second hand pants here a lot), they're a bit shiny or have a kind of sheen to them, kind of neat.. worn with a tan cloth belt.  I've also got on an extremely worn out old early 1980s brown polo with a few tiny red and gray horizontal stripes in it, and worn camouflage flip-flops.

Unlike opebo, it's snowing here.  Sweatpants, with a black turtle neck and gray hoodie.

Basketball shorts and a t-shirt. It is insanely warm in Seattle right now, cloudy and 55.

I am wearing a navy, green, and white plaid shirt and light khakis.

I didn't have to be seen in public today, so I'm just wearing a t-shirt and a pair of flannel pajama bottoms. Yesterday, though, I wore a light blue button-down, a grey and black cardigan (I'm not sure how to describe the texture. It looks like a television screen with a bad connection), a pair of slim-fitting jeans, and a pair of taupe-colored suede boots. Pretty safe. I've been looking to expand my wardrobe.

Isn't it still winter there?  Can't imagine how warm you fellows must keep it inside your homes to be able to wear 'beaters' and t-shirts and the like.

As for the weather here, I'm so happy to report it 'broke' last night with a few (very atypical) out-of-season showers.  By late night/early morning it was downright cool, and today was cool and overcast day.  So, I had to wear heavy gunmetal gray Dockers (flat-front - usually I'm no fan of the flat-front fad which will surely fizzle out soon, but this pair is so 'full cut' that it doesn't matter), a brick-red/to brownish polo with a bit of widely spaced horizontal piping in white and black, a soft old-style medium blue hoodie, and off-white Converse low-tops.

Just ran straight home from the gym. So Underarmour shorts, shorts, t-shirt and lifting gloves.

Good man.  Today I have a dark brown leather belt on, so busted up its almost two belts.  With that, a medium blue 1970s big-collar short sleeved button-down shirt with some vertical white stripes, a pair of baggy, very odd Chinese black pleated cargo shorts with an odd barely visible check or plaid in them, and a strange slightly textured feel - like a cross between a super-fine corduroy and velveteen, and a worn out pair of yellow-and-black flip flops.  Beach time for opebo (though I never actually go down to the water).

We're in the midst of Song-kran festivities.  I of course avoid the water throwing (using my car now), but I still dress in 'Song-kran style' to fit in, and just in case I accidentally get doused somewhere.

Yesterday I donned a pair of muted plaid blue-gray slightly pleated shorts and a sort of orange/yellow Chinese Polo... with just two black striped across the chest.. made me think a little of Charley Brown.  I also used my 'silly' flip flops - they're made up of several large circles in different colors.

Today was similar, a green-gray muted plaid slightly pleated pair of shorts (you get this type of short-pants made from hemmed long pants at the second hand markets here), and a black T-shirt with the words 'Its Fabulous' emblazoned across the chest in gold letters.  Simple red-and-white 'real rubber' Thai-farmer's flip flops today.

Very lightweight black dress trousers, slightly pleated and with a cuff, a beige cloth belt, and an extremely worn out and comfy blue golf polo with a light plaid in it.  The shirt is sort of nubby, which is neat.  and black and orange plaid flip-flops.

One of my favorite pairs of trousers - a very loose fitting, full cut pair of navy blue trousers made of an incredibly soft material.. I think its mostly Rayon and polyester.  This pair even has 1) slight pleating, and 2) a kind of stretch segment in the waistband.  The pockets are so huge even I can't overfill them.  Also an old golf polo with a 'honeycomb' pattern in it in tan-brown-green and a solid collar, brown-and-yellow 'Facebook' flip flops, and a black hoody.  I could hardly be more comfortable.
