I got the first season on DVD for my birthday. I'm very impressed. Still watching it, so no spoilers, please.

Spoil it for ya?  Ha ha......Let me spoil it...drinking, smoking, sex (it's that simple).....one of my favorite shows ;)

Can I stream this show on the internet somewhere? I'd really love to watch it, but I don't want to download all the episodes and fill up my already nearing full HD.

Just finished the first season. Wow. I've never been one to sit and watch episode after episode of a show at one sitting. Always found it tedious and it usually takes me a while to get through a season of a show. Can't wait for season 2.

The second season is just as good.

Bump. Just finished season 1.  It was the best Christmas gift that I received this year.  It is written perfectly- even the shallow characters are deeply drawn. Season 2 is on order.

I found it boring, but I watched 2 seasons nonetheless.

If you didn't like the first two seasons, I doubt that you'd like the third one.  The writing felt weaker until the last few episodes.

Yeah, the third season was a bit of a bore, except for a few fantastic episodes (like the finale and the one involving a certain lawn-mower accident).

I had forgotten about the lawn mower.  Way to impress your new employers...

Or, in other words, thoughts on Season 5?  A lot of promise because the period of 60s it's passing. I really liked Season 4.  Probably my second favorite after Season 1.

It's such a blatent Great American Television Drama, isn't it? Love it though, despite the obvious issues. But it's no longer on the BBC and has moved over to Sky. I don't have Sky. If only there was a solution to this situation...

The first four seasons are streaming on netflix. Great show! The Season Five premiere was just the other day. I'm happy they're moving into the late 60s now, things should get very interesting.

The last episode was fantastic even though nothing actually happened. Probably the funniest episode the show's ever done. I don't really have any idea of what they're trying to do with Season 5, but I'm totally on board with it.

Completely agree. There wasn't much going on (I'm still trying to make sense of the wallet-thing; I'll have to pay more attention to that when I re-watch) but it was a nice re-introduction to our old friends. I'm really curious as to where they take this.

From what I've seen that's pretty typical for that show.

Why is that strange? The show is slow as heck.

The last episode was the first I've ever seen and I was pretty impressed. I feel like it's too late for me to catch up though. Someday I might invest the time in it, I liked it a lot even though it's not really my type of show.

Just because some episodes are slow doesn't mean that nothing happens.

I also enjoyed the wallet subplot that basically went nowhere. Of course, maybe it will go somewhere later in the season. Or not. It's never possible to know for sure with this show. Kind of like The Sopranos in that sense. I like it all though.

Also, Don's current wife is very hot in this episode.

I'm not really sure what the Campbells were wearing at the party, but it was hilarious.

That's... really not a bad thing in TV drama.

I started watching the first season and didn't care that I hadn't finished it; I've already started watching this season. Not wise, I know, but I really like it.

Beet doesn't strike me as the kind of person that would find a show too slow, but to each his own I 'spose.

Great episode last night. Definitely had somewhat of a David Lynch feel.

Last night's and last week's episodes were both fantastic. This show is miles ahead of basically everything else on television right now.

Yeah, this season has been dynamite so far. I especially loved the Campbell-centric episode. Roger's experience on acid from last night was great too.

The Campbell episode was the best episode of TV so far this year.

I have to agree. Granted, I watch hardly any television these days... but that's because almost everything on it is dreadful.

There's more bad TV on nowadays than ever before, but there's also more good TV than ever. You just have to look a little harder to find it.

Also, I have to say that Don's new wife is a hell of a lot more interesting than Betty as a character.

I think the Breaking Bad episodes that ends with that awesome shot of Walt in the basement laughing is still the best episode this year, but the Pete Campbell one is a very, very close second.

I still haven't watched the last season of Breaking Bad yet (although I've already had some of the stuff in it spoiled for me).

"Far Away Places" may have been one of my favorite episodes of the series. The most recent wasn't too bad either.

More Pete Campbell excellence on the last episode. Plus they actually played "Tomorrow Never Knows" by The Beatles. I wonder how much dough they had to shell out for that?

Tonight was the best episode of a television show I've watched in years.

Instant classic.

End of the road for one regular character. Ah, how an awful pun can also be a spoiler of sorts.

I just finished season 2 on Netflix. I love the show. I'm trying to finish the next three before season 6 premieres. I guess I'll have to torrent season 5 since it isn't on Netflix.

The Jaguar not working was hilarious. Good episode, but not close to the best of the season (that would be "Signal 30"), which is a testament to how good this season has been. It's easily the best season so far.

It was a good episode but best thing on TV in years? Some people must be very deprived.

Considering the Sopranos and the Wire have been off the air for 4+ years, I stand by my claim... for dramas at least.
