1  General Politics / U.S. General Discussion / Re: Trump reaches a new low (again). Twitter war with Lavar Ball on: November 19, 2017, 08:24:32 pm
The really stupid thing about this is that Trump actually did something good by helping get the players released, but he's forfeited any good will he might have earned from it by his pettiness.  Do good because it's good, not for the praise it might bring you.

That Concept is completely absolutely not just foreign to Trump's basic core, but antithetical to it. That is why he is as much a horrible human being as he is a president.

Yeah he's horrible. He gets 3 black thieves released while Obummer can't get 1 white tourist released from NK until he's basically dead.

Reread the post, Grumps, then apply it to anything and everything he does.

EVERYTHING in the universe revolves around him and his ego. "Thank me for doing my job". "You won't?!?" "I should've left him in jail!!" That is totally contrary to what a human being should be, let alone a president.

BTW, stupid analogy. Are you seriously arguing dealing with NK isn't about 1000 times more difficult than doing so with China?

Ask Dennis Rodman or Bill Clinton, I don't know

Getting them released is not the issue (and you know it); as noted in my post, that was a good deed.  The problem here is Trump's requirement for public adulation.  His tweet essentially says that if he'd known they wouldn't be publicly thanking him, he'd have left them there.

Tell us, Grumps, a simple Yes or No: do you agree that in that case, he shouldn't have helped them?

He should have helped them as u said in the last thread.  It's common for Presidents to help.  They should be appreciative. These bastards aren't appreciative.  F them.

Say what you will about him, but he actually served in a war, unlike many of the chickenhawks who criticize him. FF for that alone.

The Swifties made it clear about his service. HP

Naso is my hero.

He doesn't deserve all of the Lefty venom, that's for sure.

But he's literally a white nationalist, though?

Uh, no.

Yet another reminder why this thread is named after him:
1992. I submit the idea that the election of Bill Clinton in 1992 paved the way for Waco ->Oklahoma City, possibly Columbine and then 9/11.

If George Bush had been re-elected, I anticipate that Waco wouldn't have gone the way it did, thus no Oklahoma City. The Columbine Killers would have been nutjobs either way but the date they selected was the anniversary of Waco and Oklahoma City so who knows if that would have occurred.

Also, I believe the Bush/Quayle administration from 1993-1997 would have been much more aggressive with Al Qaeda after the 1993 World Trade Center and Embassy Bombings. With the case of 9/11, any little change to the thread would have quite possibly prevented those attacks.

Bush's re-election in 1992 would have took America on a much, much different path.

In that case the entire election what if board is absurd.

Is anyone surprised the nimrod who owned the truck had an outstanding warrant?  Lol.

LOL There is always a reason they hate Trump. She had an outstanding warrant and supposedly committed identity theft a few years ago.

Trump is a law and order strongman. So he naturally is going to repel away those who break the law. That's why those losers like the NFL players are kneeling. They are against "police brutality". Once you see their records, you see that they are in and out of jail more than a Times Square pickpocket. So they naturally don't like cops and wanna protest, because they ARE the garbage.

Except when it comes to his own behavior.

He's committed a crime?  Nice try derailing his point.
