I'm going to need an extension. 12 hours this time. I'm trying to cope with my uncle's death, so understandably, this game has been fairly low on my list of priorities.

May your Uncle rest in peace.

Agree, if only because it's almost 10AM...

Also, is there any way the turns could be one week long again? Coming up with things to do for two weeks is really tiring...

If it's about the time you have in two days to make a two-week-long schedule, I think you could just ask for a 24 hour extension for the turn.

True, but that doesn't completely solve the problem. In any event since we would now be in December, and the Iowa Caucus is in February, I think one week for a two day turn is justified.

Schedule for Elizabeth Warren

November 30, 2015

Speech at Holman Field, Nashua, New Hampshire (With Maggie Hassan and Ann McLane Kuster)

Three times Bernie Sanders has cosponsored legislation to create a Department of Peace. He's being very naïve in my opinion. There will always be people or countries who want to fight or go to war with other people or countries, and sometimes mediation and negotiation does not work.

Speech at Rivier University, Nashua, New Hampshire (With Maggie Hassan and Paul Hodes)

It's about time this country took climate change seriously! While the Paris agreement, recently agreed to is not perfect, it is a huge step forward and I am proud of the Obama administration for bringing us into this agreement. Even so, there's still more work to be done, and I, as President will seek to push for further reductions in carbon emissions than outlined in agreement, and I will seek to bring other big polluters, like China and India on board.

Town Hall on Anti-Terrorism Policy in Franklin, New Hampshire (With Ann McLane Kuster, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid)

With the recent attacks in Paris, do you believe we are safer at home and abroad?
First off, let me say that I, like so many others, stand with the city of Paris in their darkest hours. To answer your question, you can't stop living your life because you feel scared. As President, I'll push for budget increases for the FBI and TSA, so that we are safe at home, and encourage our allies to share intelligence about terror plots with us, so that we can more easily disrupt them.

December 1, 2015

Meet Voters in Pittsfield, New Hampshire (With Maggie Hassan)

Speech at Franklin Pierce University, Rinidge, New Hampshire (With Maggie Hassan)

Volkswagen's cheating on emissions tests is another example of corporate greed at its finest! As President, I will direct the Attorney General to prosecute Volkswagen, and its executives to the extent of the law, both civilly and criminally, holding them accountable for their bottomless pursuit of the almighty dollar.

Meet Voters in Chesterfield, New Hampshire (With Maggie Hassan and Ann McLane Kuster)

Meet Voters in Jaffery, New Hampshire (With Maggie Hassan and Ann McLane Kuster)

December 2, 2015

Speech at Alumni Field, Keene, New Hampshire (With Maggie Hassan)

I was recently asked if Saudi Arabia is an allies or an enemy. Well, the answer is that fifteen of the September Eleventh hijackers came from Saudi Arabia, their leadership has turned a blind eye to terrorism around the globe, and they seek the destruction of other allies, namely Israel. If they are our allies, they sure don't behave like it, and I would be more inclined to say their closer to opposition.

Speech at Keene State College, Keene, New Hampshire (With Maggie Hassan and Ed Markey)

College is one of the most expensive things a young person can do, and millions spend themselves into debt because of the sky-high cost of tuition. As President, I will push for free college for families, and individuals making less than $200,000 annually.

December 3, 2015

Speech in Ottumwa, Iowa (With Tom Harkin)

Don't get fooled by Bernie Sanders's hype! He is not electable in a general election, and will cost Democrats wins across the nation if he is nominated, especially against a Rubio or a Moran.

Meet Voters in Eddyville, Iowa (With Chet Culver)

Meet Voters in Rose Hill, Iowa (With Tom Harkin and Chet Culver)

Statement from the Warren campaign on the recent events in South Carolina

The Warren campaign condemns the attack on Mr. Pearcy in the strongest terms. An attack on a candidate for office is unacceptable, and should be denounced by all Americans, no matter who they are.

The attacker was a member of a neo-Nazi organization. This is an extremist group, whose ideals must be repudiated by all at every turn.

Schedule for Elizabeth Warren

December 9, 2015

Speech/Receive endorsement from Vice-President Biden, Washington D.C (With Joe Biden and family, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid)

I know we've sparred in the past, but I will do my best to fight for the people and ensure an Democratic victory this November. Joe...I can call you Joe, right? I will not let you down!!!

Speech at San Bernardino Valley College, San Bernardino, California (With Gavin Newsom and Carolyn McCarthy)

One Week ago, terrorism stalked this humble city. However, it could not have happened if he, as a red-flagged terrorist was allowed to buy a gun, and if, as my good friend and endorsee Carolyn McCarthy just said, there was an assault weapons ban in place, much like what we had between 1994 and 2004, that would proscribe weapons like the AR-15, and other similar models. It is not a choice between your guns and your freedoms, it is a choice between doing the right thing, and doing nothing.

December 10, 2015

Meet Voters in Gorham, New Hampshire (With Maggie Hassan and Paul Hodes)

Meet Voters in Milan, New Hampshire (With Maggie Hassan)

Speech in Berlin, New Hampshire (With Maggie Hassan)

You know, both parties have changed over the past thirty years. We've gone from the party of Bill Clinton and the DLC, to Senator Sanders and myself, possibly two of the most progressive members of the Senate. And on the Republican side, they've gone from being the party of moderates like Jacob Javits, Richard Schweiker, Arlen Specter Lincoln Chafee to right-wing fanatics like Marco Rubio, Jerry Moran, Rand Paul, Paul Ryan and Ted Cruz, who have tried to hold our government hostage because they are sore losers over the election of President Obama! Elect Senators like Maggie Hassan, and we won't have to tolerate their obstructionism any longer!

December 11, 2015

Meet Voters in New Hampton, New Hampshire (With Maggie Hassan)

Meet Voters in Ruthven, Iowa (With Tom Harkin and Chet Culver)

December 12, 2015

Meet Voters in West Bend, Iowa (With Tom Harkin and Chet Culver)

Town Hall in Algona, Iowa (With Chet Culver)

Senator, given the crises happening in our world today, a strong Secretary of State is needed. Who would your first choice be?
Well, the Vice-President, if he's willing has wanted the job for years, so he would be on my short list...and Secretary Kerry has done his job very well... but my first choice would probably be, Samantha Power, who is serving admirably as our Ambassador to the United Nations. Of course, things can change, so don't hold me to this statement.

Meet Voters in Lake Mills, Iowa (With Tom Harkin)

December 13, 2015

Meet Voters in Forest City, Iowa (With Tom Harkin)

Meet Voters in Auburntown, Tennessee (With Al Gore)

Meet Voters in Alexandria Tennessee (With Al Gore)

December 14, 2015

Meet Voters in Wheatland Township, Minnesota (With Amy Klobuchar)

Meet Voters in Walcott Townshp, Minnesota (With Amy Klobuchar)

Speech in Faribault, Minnesota

If we give control of all three branches of Government back to the Republicans we'll see madness like the Valerie Plame debacle, the scandals that surrounded Jack Abramoff and Tom Delay, plus many other Congressmen, Senators and Federal officials. Nominate me, elect me in November, and we won't go back to that.

December 15, 2015

Attend Minnesota Wild Game, Excel Energy Center, St, Paul, Minnesota

December 16, 2015

Meet Voters in Searchlight, Nevada (With Harry Reid and Catharine Cortez Masto)

Schedule for Elizabeth Warren

December 17, 2015

Speech in Lebanon, New Hampshire (With Maggie Hassan)

Republicans have been trying to repeal the Affordable Care Act for almost six years now. It is imperative we prevent a Marco Rubio, Jerry Moran, or Rand Paul from being elected President and repealing this important law. As President, I will veto any attempts to repeal the Affordable Care Act, from a Congress determined to overturn one of the most monumental laws in American history.

Meet Voters in Waterville Valley, New Hampshire (With Maggie Hassan and Jeanne Shaheen)

Meet Voters in Eaton, New Hampshire (With Maggie Hassan and Jeanne Shaheen)

Debate Prep in Eaton, New Hampshire (With Howard Dean)

December 19, 2015

Speech in Rochester, New Hampshire (With Jeanne Shaheen)

Stephen Pearcy can't seem to decide if he's a Democrat or a Republican. Over the course of this campaign, I've seen him take stances for Same-Sex marriage, pro marijuana and for financial regulation,, both positions which are anathema to the Republican platform! Yet, he's against the IRS, against the Affordable Care Act... Mr. Pearcy, make up your mind!

Debate prep in Rochester, New Hampshire (With Howard Dean)

Meet Voters in Holstein, Iowa (With Tom Vilsack, Tom Harkin and Chet Culver)

Speech at Gateway Arena-Tyson Events Center, Sioux City, Iowa (With Tom Harkin)

Thirty-Six Republican Senators, including Jerry Moran, Marco Rubio and Rand Paul signed a letter to President Obama insisting that he not negotiate any climate deal. This policy will doom our planet quickly, rendering it inhospitable for any kind of life, much like Venus or Mercury. Is that what you want your legacies to be?

December 22, 2015

Speech at Lewis and Clark Park, Sioux City, Iowa (With Tom Harkin and Chet Culver)

John McCain and Jeff Flake recently uncovered that the Department of Defense paid for patriotic displays at sporting events at stadiums and arenas much like this one with taxpayer dollars. This is inappropriate, and a waste of taxpayer money, to fund wealthy sports owners like Jerry Jones, Arthur Blank, Robert Kraft and Craig Leipold. As President I will direct the Department of Defense to arrange color guard ceremonies, and national anthem ceremonies for free.

Speech in Le Mars, Iowa (With Chet Culver)

It was an honor to debate Senator Sanders this past week, and I look forward to more debates with him. Regardless of who you believe is the stronger candidate in November, the fact is that we need to be united as a party. Whether or not I win, we will have a progressive candidate in November, and we will put together a progressive platform.

Statement on Daily Kos website

We are excited to have two proudly progressive candidates running for the Democratic nomination, but only can win that nomination, and only one can bring progressive values to the White House. That candidate is Elizabeth Warren. She will fight for progressive values, and for the ordinary Americans. We implore progressives to donate to her campaign, as she is the only candidate who can keep the White House in our hands.

Schedule for Elizabeth Warren

January 1, 2016

Speech at UNI Dome, Cedar Falls, Iowa (With Tom Harkin)

I just thought I'd wish everyone a Happy New Year, and I hope you all have a 2016 that will be as interesting as our 2015 was.

Speech at McLeod Center, Cedar Falls, Iowa (With Tom Harkin)

It's outrageous that we still have a prison camp in Guantanamo Bay that tortures prisoners, doesn't give trials to anyone, and imprisons the innocent. As President, I will push for the closure of the Guantanamo Bay detention camp, and return the camp, and associated naval base to Cuba.

Meet Voters in La Porte City, Iowa (With Chet Culver)

Meet Voters in Evansdale, Iowa (With Chet Culver and Tom Harkin)

January 2, 2016

Speech in Waterloo, Iowa (With Tom Harkin and Al Franken)

The caucuses are a month away, and if you have never caucused before, now is the time to learn. Our campaign, in conjunction with Tom Harkin, Chet Culver, and EMILY's List is sponsoring  "how to caucus" seminars in every county, in this state on the weekend of January 9-10. These seminars are free of charge, and open to any registered Democrat or Independent voter with an Iowa voting address.

Meet Voters in Sharon, New Hampshire (With Jeanne Shaheen and Maggie Hassan)

Speech in Hollis, New Hampshire (With Maggie Hassan)

Republicans like Marco Rubio, Jerry Moran, Rand Paul, Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan want to take us back to 1950's when women were submissive to their male spouses, minorities were second class citizens, and LGBTQ individuals had no rights at all. This cannot be allowed to happen, and under a Warren administration, with a Democratic Congress, this will not happen.

January 4, 2016

Speech in Milford, New Hampshire (With Jeanne Shaheen and Maggie Hassan)

Senator Rubio has attacked me for not using the term "Islamic Extremism" to refer to terror that threatens our country. Well, Senator, that threat is very real, but it isn't the only threat facing this country. There are homegrown extremists like Timothy McVeigh, Ted Kaczynski, and others who committed terrorist acts in this country. There are those like Richard Spencer, Steve Bannon, Milo Yiannapoulos, and others who encourage such acts through their extreme positions, and language that glorifies the ethnic cleansing of minorities. It's a shame that Senator Rubio forgot these people, when describing the terrorist threats America faces.

Meet Voters in Mason, New Hampshire (With Maggie Hassan)

Meet Voters in Deering, New Hampshire (With Maggie Hassan)

Meet Voters in Antrim, New Hampshire (With Maggie Hassan and Jeanne Shaheen)

January 5, 2016

Speech at Verizon Wireless Arena (to be named SNHU Arena on September 1), Manchester, New Hampshire (With Maggie Hassan)

Millions of Americans take part in fantasy sports games for money. While some states have made this illegal, there is no reason that we should not legalize and tax it on a federal basis. We are not the morality police, nor should we be.

Meet Voters in Burnettown, South Carolina (With Joe Biden)

January 6, 2016

Speech in North Augusta, South Carolina (With Joe Biden and Al Gore)

North Korea's latest nuclear test is a clear provocation. There is only one country with the power to stop Kim Jong-Un from mounting a nuclear warhead on a missile. Therefore, I call upon the Chinese government to crack down on businesses and individuals flouting sanctions against North Korea, and if necessary depose Kim Jong-Un's government themselves.

Meet Voters in Ridge Spring, South Carolina (With Jim Clyburn and Joe Biden)

Meet Voters in Monetta, South Carolina (With Joe Biden)

Speech at Longwood University, Farmville, Virginia (With Tim Kaine)

America's roads need vast improvements, and as President I will push for spending to modernize our airports, update our roads, and acclimate our ports to modern times, so we can continue to travel and trade like first-class people.

Attend Screening of The Hurt Locker in Milford, Iowa

Meet Voters in Okoboji, Iowa (With Tom Vilsack and Tom Harkin)

Town Hall on foreign policy in Spirit Lake, Iowa (With John Kerry, Madeline Albright and Joe Biden)

Do you plan to go to war with Russia, should they attack a NATO ally such as Poland or the Baltic States?
Hopefully, Vladimir Putin isn't that stupid. But yes, should any NATO ally find themselves attacked by Russia, a Warren government will defend them if asked, under the terms of Article 5 of the NATO charter.

Meet Voters in Dolliver, Iowa (With Tom Harkin)

January 17, 2017

Appearance on Meet the Press, from Dolliver, Iowa

So, Senator, you're leading in all four early states, and hold leads in most of the Super Tuesday states according to our polls here at NBC. Do you believe this is your nomination to lose?
Chuck, I'm not underestimating Senator Sanders yet. He can still win Iowa, New Hampshire and Nevada, he almost certainly will win Vermont, and certainly can win in the American Samoa, Minnesota, Colorado and with Democrats Abroad. So he's got a source of delegates in the coming weeks. And even if I do win the nomination, the general election will be difficult, with a potentially strong Republican opponent in Senator Rubio or Senator Paul, and a independent candidacy in Mark Cuban who can funnel in hundreds of millions. I'd like to think I'm the favorite, at least for the nomination, but this race is far from over. Same for Senator Rubio and the Republicans.

Speech in Estherville, Iowa (With Al Gore)

So Mark Cuban is thinking about entering the race, huh? Well, he's just another billionaire looking to buy the Presidency to me, just like Ross Perot, and if he gets in, we will slam him so hard, he'll look like he's just been dunked on.

Meet Voters in Wallingford, Iowa (With Tom Harkin)

January 18, 2016

Meet Voters in Graetinger, Iowa (With Tom Harkin)

Meet Voters in West Bend, Iowa (With Tom Vilsack)

Speech in Humboldt, Iowa (With John Lewis and Jim Clyburn)

On this day we commemorate a martyr of the struggle for civil rights, in Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. His brave struggle against injustice inspires so many to fight injustice in our own lives, even at the cost of our lives. May he be remembered forever as a warrior of passion in all he believed in, and may the dream he had, that people judge by character, not, race, be truly fulfilled in our time.

Book Reading/Discussion of A Fighting Chance (by Elizabeth Warren, coincidentally), in Humboldt, Iowa (The campaign will be providing copies of the book so people don't have to buy their own)

January 19, 2016

Speech in Fort Dodge, Iowa (With Tom Harkin)

With the Caucuses less than two weeks away, it's time to plan how you are going to get to your caucus site, and whether you can clear the evening. If you still do not know how to caucus, our campaign, in conjunction with EMILY's List will be hosting another round of "how to caucus" seminars on January 24 in every county. Like last time, they will be open to Democrats and Independents.

Meet Voters in Farnhamville, Iowa (With Chet Culver and Tom Harkin)

January 21, 2016

Meet Voters in Candia, New Hampshire (With Jeanne Shaheen and Maggie Hassan)

Speech in Portsmouth, New Hampshire (With Maggie Hassan and Carol Shea-Porter)

We'd like to see Turkey as an ally, and they have been in the past, but President Erdogan is making it very difficult for us to continue to view them as such, due to his Islamist leanings, and desire to turn his country into a dictatorship, much like what the Ottoman Empire was back in the day. A Warren Administration will re-evaluate this relationship closely.

Meet Voters in North Hampton, New Hampshire

January 22, 2016

Senate Duties, Washington D.C

January 23, 2016

Senate Duties, Washington D.C

I take over as Jerry Moran, but if I lose the Iowa caucuses, I will drop out.

Then you're essentially dropping out, as Moran was in third place, ten points behind Rubio...he's not winning Iowa, unless a miracle happens.

Maybe I could also count on South Carolina. After all I'm endorsed by Lindsey Graham.

You'd need a little luck, as you're in last place, thirteen points behind Rubio...but by all means stick around...

I'm having major computer troubles, so if anyone wants to step in as Warren, please let NHI know quickly. I will approve anyone willing to take over, but should no one do so by the conclusion of this turn (Thursday 11PM) Warren will drop out and endorse Sanders.

Why would she drop out right before the Iowa Caucuses?

I don't have access to a computer on a regular basis at the moment, so this has nothing to do with the campaign itself.

If NHI wants to write it as a loss in the caucuses and Warren dropping out and endorsing Sanders immediately thereafter I have no problems with that.

This is fine wth me. I've heard from no one yet.

Iowa caucus results tonight!

I managed to solve my computer problems, so Warren can in theory continue. However, if you (NHI) feels honor bound to stand by our earlier agreement than that is fine.

Thanks for being understanding NHI.

Glad to hear the matter is resolved. Would love to have you continue as Warren!

Then Warren is staying in... sorry for confusing everyone.

Elizabeth Warren Victory Speech

It's been a long night, but we were able to emerge victorious. I congratulate Senator Sanders on the campaign he's run, and look forward to the battles in states ahead. We are one step closer to making history, and shattering the highest glass ceiling for women everywhere! We are going to break up the big banks and make our financial system fairer for the ordinary American! We can't do this without your help, America!

Endorsements:

Elizabeth Warren:
Janice Hahn, The New York Times, NARAL, Andrew Cuomo, Jimmy Carter, Rush Holt, Ted Deutch and Mazie Hirono.

Marco Rubio:
Dennis Cook, Chairman of Young Republicans, endorse Marco Rubio because he's convinced that 44-year old Marco Rubio is the best Republican presidential candidate in this race to attract young voters and because Rubio understands the economic and social struggles of the Millennials.

Robert Bentley, Governor of Alabama,  endorse Marco Rubio due to shared views on social, economic and foreign policy issues and also due to their shared opposition to amnesty.

Dan Sullivan, Alaska Senator,  endorse Marco Rubio due to shared hawkish views.

Ron Corbett, Mayor of Cedar Rapids (Iowa), endorse Marco Rubio due to shared views on abortion, freedom of religion and gun rights.

Scott Taylor, Virginia congressman, endorse Marco Rubio due to shared views on foreign policy issues.

Susan Collins, Maine Senator, endorse Marco Rubio due to shared views on economic issues and foreign policy issues.

Phil Scott, candidate for Vermont Governor, endorse Marco Rubio due to shared views on economic issues and free trade.

Asa Hutchinson, Governor of Arkansas, endorse Marco Rubio due to shared views on economic and social issues.

Rob Wittman, Virginia congressman, endorses Marco Rubio due to shared views on economic and foreign policy issues.

Charlie Baker, Governor of Massachusetts, endorses Marco Rubio due to shared views on economic issues and their shared strong fiscal responsibility position.

Stephen Pearcy:
Frank Edelblut GOP Nevada senate  candidate,  Andrew Bacevich, Govenor of Guam Eddie Calvo,  Sean Duffy and a total surprise former Democratic senator from Virginia Jim Webb.

Bernie Sanders:
Governor John Bel Edwards of Louisiana: "I may be a Blue Dog,  but one thing I believe is that Sanders is speaking common sense on economics. We may disagree on social issues, but economics . . . well we agree 100%"

Senator Debbie Stabenow: "I'm from Michigan. I've seen what conservatove government has done to my state. If you want a President that will fight tooth and nail for the average America, then Senator Sanders is your candidate"

Lieutenant-Governor Gavin Newsom: "Jerry (Brown) has already endorsed him, and I can see why. Senator Sanders has proved that he is the candidate of the working class and middle class, and I will be proud to cast a ballot for him."

I'm pretty sure I have Newsom.

We are proud to endorse Elizabeth Warren, because she is a fighter on economic issues that affect ordinary Americans. As the impetus of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, she fought for the rights of average Americans against corporations. She is a fighter for women's rights, for minority rights, and for the rights of the poor against the rich. We proud to endorse Senator Warren, and look forward to her success.

Statement from NARAL Pro-Choice America
We are honored to endorse Elizabeth Warren for President. She is a fighter for women's rights in this country, and is one the most pro-choice candidates in history. She will be a wonderful President, and we encourage donors to donate to her, now .

Bill O'Reilly said last night that I don't have enough experience to be President. Well, President Obama, had the same number of years in the Senate before being elected. Senator Rubio, Senator Paul and Senator Moran only have two more years in the Senate than I do. And Stephen Pearcy isn't an elected official at all. So experience, clearly isn't the issue here Mr. O'Reilly, unless you actually want to support Senator Sanders, which I doubt.

Joe Biden at a campaign rally in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Hillary Clinton's actions as Secretary of State in using a private server for her e-mails was reckless, but I bet you, if you asked Condoleezza Rice or Colin Powell whether they used a private server as Secretary of State, they would answer in the affirmative. Stephen Pearcy's accusations of treason are premature at best, and at worst, they will distract us from reforming State Department procedure so this never happens again. Hillary Clinton is not someone who would willingly sell secrets to any other country, and to say she committed treason is a bridge to far in my view.
