Can’t we just applaud TN Republicans for a huge FF move without making snide remarks about socialism and Berniecrat economics? A lot of the posts in this thread read more like “yeah, this is all well and good, but...” as opposed to “This is a great development.” Let’s give credit where credit is due and save the hypocrisy comments for threads where they are actually warranted.
Because many people in your wing of the party are still claiming that free College is an unrealistic pipe dream that's tantamount to promising everyone free ponies.
I may not be in your wing of the party, but I’m not in the same wing as most of the guys who dismiss the concept out of hand either 
“Berniecrat” and “neo-liberal Clintonite” are not the only two kinds of Democrats. In any case, I was referring more to posts that seemed to be more focused on mocking TN Republicans than acknowledging the good thing that happened.
Fwiw the free ponies thing is straight from Hillary's own book, so not exactly an irrelevant figure in the party. Anyway, my bad it's that's not the wing you personally identify with - that's the impression I got from your posts but I might have misinterpreted them.
No worries, just to be clear the Clintons and their whole crew of corrupt friends and corporatist hacks are the personification of a good 70% of what’s wrong with the Democratic Party (with Bill somehow being even worse than Hillary, both on policy and as a person) imo. Folks like Ilhan Omar and Alan Grayson personify the remaining 30%.
Oh, Omar and Grayson are terrible, no disagreement here. I don't think many people on the left are particularly fond of them.
People on the left, if they think about Grayson at all (which they probably don't), probably dislike him because he's a loud white dude who was accused of domestic abuse.
People on the left love Ilhan Omar though. Why on Earth would you think otherwise?
