So what does that mean? Is gay marriage now legal in New Jersey or is there going to be another round of litigation?

i think it's done, marriages will be performed starting Monday. Think I heard Sen.-Elect Booker will be performing some.

I see there is an appeal pending that will be tried next year. What are the odds of the decision legalizing gay marriage being overturned?

very little in my opinion. The decision will be decided by the same people who made this decision today.
