TX: Davis trails by 8 in internal

Did anyone ever actually think this? Most people knew from the start there's no way Davis could win. Her purpose was to motivate the Democratic base in the state for future endeavors as opposed to throwing up a some dude and laying down and dying.

Among the Huff Po/Buzzfeed/Jezebel ~feminists~ and liberals, who are legion, talk of her winning and turning Texas blue was very widespread early on.

But now they've pretty much forgotten about her.
