So perhaps Rich would be a better option at this point? Honestly I think a blank slate who's had zero fire directed at her to date might be a better way to go than the damaged, lazy Crist.
It could happen if the FL Dems and Obama campaign wanted to help her out, but it might be too late in the game to get Rich from "a somebody candidate" to a popular, well-known candidate in a matter of a month (primary is Aug. 26th). I don't know if a competitive Democratic primary is worth costing us any realistic chance at taking out Scott anyways.
