I am actually rather neutral to FPTP with runoff voting.  It is probably second-best to the preferential system presently in place (third would be approval voting), so I wouldn't shed any tears were it enacted.

The comments above basically echo my support and objections to FPTP with runoff voting.

I oppose approval voting for use in national elections, especially Presidential.  I'm fine with it in the Southeast.

The electoral college is actually one of my favorite political institutions, as it protects the US from the mobish scourge that is direct democracy.

However in Atlasia, where each person is essentially an electoral vote, there really is no reason or need for it at all.
