To be fair, no administration expects these things to be made public. And I doubt this really has much of an effect on international relations.

Tell it Richard Nixon.  Remember the Pentagon Papers?

Oh, you English are
so superior, aren't you?

Would you like to know where you'd be
without us, the US of A, to protect you?

I'll tell you. The smallest f@#%&*$ province
in the Russian Empire, that's what!

So don't call me stupid, lady.
Just thank me!

Thank you for popping in
and protecting us!

If it wasn't for us, you'd all
be speaking German! Singing:

Deutschland, Deutschland über alles

Okay, I do like John Cleese.

Haha. I think you'll find the US's role in WWII was much less than that of the USSR or China.

How many troops, or weapons, did China send to defend the UK or invade Europe?

I think the key is who wrote the piece.

The Wikileaks documents showed us something very important:

Diplomats gossip.

Julian Assange and Hugo Chavez are now saying that Secretary Clinton "should resign" as well.  My conspiracy theory radar is picking up a low-level signal.

I wish the cables would have included Chávez's psychiatric profile.
