Yes I know all about him but I probably wouldn't at the time. With all the knowledge of him, I would've definately voted Nixon, or for Hass or DeBerry.

In one precinct in Texas in the '48 senate election, everyone voted for Johnson except one person - and he was the last to vote. What's more, everyone (except the one person who voted against him) voted in alphabetical order. Johnson won that election by 87 votes.
