Can Justin Fairfax run for reelection if he becomes governor? There is a one term limit in Virginia, but he hasn't be elected governor in the first place.

If Fairfax resigns and Northam doesn't, who becomes Lt. Gov? The AG? A special election? Northam appoints a new Lt.?

The governor can appoint a new officeholder as I read it.

Has to be some anti-LGBT stuff. That would round it up and we've gotten racism, sexism and homophobia.

The next in line is obviously a Republican (Speaker of the House); maybe he has something with xenophobia.

Why do some politicans give such sh*ty responses that make things worse? Both have handled their respective issues not properly.

Color me skeptical, but if this is true and Northam is behind it... this would be huge and almost Frank Underwood territory.

So it looks like there is more to it? Holy Christ...

What I just don't understand is why don't victims report immediately?

I believe Ms. Tyson after following most recent developments. She has nothing to gain from this if it was not true. Fairfax should resign even before Northam.

My idea would be this: Fairfax resigns and Northam appoints Terry McAuliffe lieutenant governor before he himself resigns. T-Mac has done a good job and should be returned to office. Make T-Mac governor again!

If someone told us on Christmas there is major scandal in a US state by February, everybody would have thought of JB Pritzker. LOL

Good. but Fairfax should step down immediately.

Afterwards, Northam should install T-Mac as lieutanant governor and resign himself. T-Mac did a great job and is highly respected in Virginia. Let him govern the state again.
