At least give it a month. I know how these meetings go....when you first met Tiffanye it was a few days until you were engaged and with Susan it was about the same, but this time at least get to know her a bit.

The anticipation of this date is unbearable. It's like the week before Christmas for me. I just know he is going to get engaged by Sunday but he's going to talk about talking it slow up until that very moment and it's going to be glorious when it happens. He's already planning to ask her dad to get serious.

I know some guys that did that because their girlfriends think its cute. I was talking about asking him if he could get serious. I've never heard of that before. Tongue

As for the parents, why would they reject Bushie? If they don't even know him, how would they be in the position to say yes or no? Wouldn't they trust her judgment?

We are focusing on this too much. My ex girlfriend wanted me to ask her dad but she was a romantic type who wanted a love story type marriage. We are focusing too much on that and ignoring that FINALLY bushie has a lady back in his life.

Instead of being rocked to sleep over his CADD scores and schedule that no one gives 2 f**ks about! we can finally hear about his relationship. Color me ecstatic.

No no no no. You don't cook for a girl on the first date. You want to get to know each other, and when you're cooking you are occupied, and most girls won't want to come to your place before you've ever had a first date unless they're DTF.

And I say that being a terrific cook myself, and I could make a meal better than a lot of restaurants. But the point of this date is to talk and get to know each other. Cooking can come later when they're more comfortable and settling into this affair.

And guys who like to try new things aren't slobs! I am a huge foodie. Nothing wrong with going out of your way to try new restaurants. Tongue
