MD's poll made no sense to me, but part of me keeps wanting to hold on to hope that Dole pulls this one out. I just can't imagine NC being all blue on election night.

Why would you want Dole to win?

The only reason at this point is to keep the Democrats from having a filibuster proof majority. As I've said before, Dole is a useless Senator, but I also don't want to hand Obama a blank check and a rubber stamp congress.

But I didn't have to make that choice. I voted for Lindsey Graham in South Carolina.
