Your political compass
Economic Left/Right: 8.50
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 0.21

Continuing my march toward Libertarianism. I went down from 1.97 on Social to .21 and I have stayed right around the same place in economic.

Closest person to me is Milton Friedman.

Is it possible that I am the most right wing member of the forum?

A question for the more experienced: does the mock government have a party called "The Neo-Conservative party?"
You could always create one. But either the Atlas Republicans. or more likely considering that your a Southerner, the Southern Republican/States Rights Party would be a very good fit for you.

Economic Left/Right: 6.63
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 0.46

With those scores you shouldn't belong in the hate america party.
Pat Buchanan's a Republican. I'm not a Republican.

If I remember correctly, Pat Buchanan left the Republican Party in 2000 and joined the Reform Party. He may not still be their but to the best of my knowledge he still is.

Economic Left/Right: -3.88
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 1.28

Economic Left/Right: -4.13
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 2.21

Economic Left/Right: -5.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 2.87

Well I'm frankly confused.  I don't think I answered that diferently:
Economic Left/Right: -6.13
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 3.49

I guess it's time for Al to cede the title of most populist.

I believe Al has an economic score of -9.00 so you're not there yet. Also why the hell are you in the Freedom Party? You belong in the FLP with scores like that.

i was about to ask the same question -seeing someone like Kramer (and WMS) in the Freedom Party gave me the impression the party itself leaned to the economic left, hence my overtures for a merger......

I would not say WMS. WMS is very centrist and only slightly populist. Also Preston does reflect the mainstream of his party which is  mostly around -1 to +2 Economically and +1 to +4 Socially.

That F Scale test is pretty screwed up.  At least three questions were blatantly stolen from the Political Compass, and they have the same messed up idea that blind belief in astrology is somehow "conservative" (they must take after Nancy Reagan, but then again, she supports stem cell research).  The sex offenders question was completely ridiculous; sure, imprisonment isn't enough, but publicly whipping them?  Almost all of the questions seem to be making fun of the Christian right in an effort to get a liberal response.  Completely biased.  My score was a 3.4, not that it matters since the test was so dumb.

Sure thing, wingnut.

Actually the F Scale test was invented before the Political Compass test. It first appeared in a 1948 book entitled The Authoritarian Personality. So its actually the opposite of what you said Ebowed. The Political Compass stole a couple of questions from the F Scale test.

as of February 6, 2005:

Your political compass

Economic Left/Right: -8.50
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.41
Economic Left/Right: -6.75
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.67
not much has changed, though i may have become slightly more moderate:

Economic Left/Right: -6.38
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.36
i'm a little shocked by how centrist i have become......

Economic Left/Right: -3.88
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.36

i finally have scores i think most accurately describe me:

Economic Left/Right: -6.13
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.67

It has been about a month since I last took this, and I have again moved more to the center....

Economic Left/Right: -4.50
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.90

To reflect the changes made to the questions since June 15th on the site:

Economic Left/Right: -3.75
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.79

I am creeping ever more to the center the longer I stay at this site...

Your political compass

Economic Left/Right: -3.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.56

This forum slowly pulls everyone in the libertarian direction. The longer you stay the more libertarian you get. Wink

This score might seem a bit out of the loop for me, but I've taken the a couple times after I got simliar scores to this, and they were all close.

Economic: 7.75
Social: -1.03
Sad

Here's one of Alcon's old scores for what it's worth
Economic Left/Right: -6.62
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.79

Ah very good. If we could only due this to everyone in the United States we libertarians would rule the country. *insert evil laugh here*
