This stinks of similar republican threats- where a small minority of members who love their own voices talk up a big game to politico, but then fold for some tiny demand, and prove how weak (and small there numbers are)

It's a rather simple question- would Marcia Fudge be a more effective speaker than Nancy Pelosi? The obvious answer is no.

This proves why Pelosi should be speaker- the last week or so has been a work of art in how you dispatch rivals before the vote even begins. Of course Ryan, and Moulton were so hilariously useless- and proved why we couldn't let them anywhere near congressional power.

It's ashame- Tim Ryan was always a bit of a cretin, but Moulton could (and might still?) have had a very bright political future.
