For the Mack enthusiasts - Connie could always run for governor.

If he does have presidential ambitions, it would make sense for Crist to jettison out of Florida and into DC.  It'll be far easier to defend your legislative record in the coming recession than your record as governor.  What are you going to do, brag about how you cut less social services and yet still had deficits that ballooned slightly less than the other states?

it probably would take 2012 out of the picture for him
