MA-PPP: Obama leads all Republicans

Barack Obama 57% Mike Huckabee 33%
Barack Obama 57% Newt Gingrich 33%
Barack Obama 61% Sarah Palin 32%

favorability #s among all voters:

Mitt Romney 40%/51% for -11%.
Mike Huckabee 29%/48% for -19%.
Newt Gingrich 27%/58% for -31%.
Sarah Palin 27%/68% for -41%.

favorability / unfavorability among Republicans only:

Gingrich 49% / 33%
Huckabee 50% / 32%
Palin 56% / 38%
Romney 75% / 14%

Also, only 67% of Republicans favor Palin in a hypothetical Obama-Palin matchup, with 15% for Obama and 18% undecided.  Definitely different from results in other states.  But then this is both Romney's home state and a solidly Democratic state, so that shouldn't come as a surprise.

Interesting that Romney is doing so well. I know it's his home state but from what I have heard he was very unpopular when he left office.

Well, -11% favorability isn't anything to brag about.  He *is* unpopular in MA, but markedly more popular than most other national Republicans, it seems.
