Yes, the CoC, annoyed at the more ideological members of the House caucus and their ability to stymie such desired legislation as highway funding, export-impact bank renewal and immigration reform, are planning on a few primaries.

Hopefully this goes through. The upcoming campaign has seen very little high-intensity intraparty warfare amongst comgresscitters, although this may be politico shooting their wad prematurely.

I suppose what I really hate is anyone on the political spectrum who are under the delusion that they are the only honest/principled politician in the sea of vipers that is congress/the national legislation. I understand why it is very appealing in an aesthetic sense - it plays off the Mr Smith Goes to Washington tropes that are always very popular with the public; but it is fundamentally vain and uncharacteristic of the situation in general.
