Petersons getting a disproportionate amount of attention. He's a fourth placer at best.
He has a large socialist following and has raised a fair bit of money, he won't win if Hawley gets in but he's good for about 25% of the vote

Yeah but I think there is a non-zero chance Hawley loses his primary to Austin Petersen (who ironically would probably do better against air claire)

Race is not a toss up. Courtland Sykes will likely be the nominee

Why do you think that?
Hawley has run a completely milquetoast, feeble campaign, Greitens was still popular with the GOP base who may feel Hawley betrayed him, and Sykes is exactly the type of personality that appeals to GOP primary voters. The complete dearth of polling for the primary as well means we have no idea how the race actually looks. Sykes probably won't atcually win but I expect him to do way better than anyone expects
No lol (this is the type of thinking that led many red avatars to think Blankenship was going to win the primary walking away), the only primary opponent to Hawley with any support is Austin Petersen and even he is a 10% chance to win at best

So a GOP female candidate for auditor in Missouri with a history of financial difficulties is not qualified.
But a Democrat female candidate for Governor of Georgia with a history of financial difficulties is qualified.
Is there any double standard here.
It's ok when democrats do it, just like with domestic abuse and tax evasion

McCaskill is goin' down, obviously.

When she starts running ads that refer to her as

Not one of those crazy Democrats

you know she's in trouble, big trouble
Yeah that's not the type of ad you play when you're ahead, her internals also probably show her down if she's pulling stunts like that

Pretty decent story regarding the MO campaign...

Eh, McCaskill has been framed as some sort of Harry Truman redux for the entire cycle but her campaign skills are probably overrated. She won in 2006 more as a result of the national environment as she underperformed her poll numbers, in 2012 she not only had the gift of her opponent being Todd Akin she also got a major assist from the national media in keeping that gaffe as front-page news until election day.

McCaskill's nasty concession speech just goes to show what a despicable person she is and why the Senate is much better off with her gone
