Politician has a hard time distinguishing between "post that is absurd and/or ignorant" vs. "post I disagree with." Or in this particular case "facts I dislike."

TBF, that is most of this thread.  Saying something as partisan as, "tax cuts can help spur economic growth" could get you thrown in here more or less on the basis that some leftie vehemently disagrees with you/thinks you're stupid, LOL.  Obviously many other opposite examples, too.

Maybe we all need to get our training wheels on, but conflating holding your nose and voting for an alleged "rapist" due to partisan hackery - while absolutely something that should be condemned - with "LOVING rape" is, indeed, absurd and ignorant.

Pitbull owners should be ashamed of themselves and the entire breeds should be either euthanized or bred out, or a combo of both.

Genocide for dogs, basically.

They are not humans, so I can say that.

Doesn't mean you should

#LetDogsSurvive

I want all to survive except for pitbulls.

Well, this seems in line with your other opinions.

Might be time to rename the thread:

White liberals are the most racist people in America.  They don't believe black people can succeed in a color blind society.  It absolutely disgusts me.
He's not exactly wrong, especially on the first part of that statement.

He's not wrong at all, even if he used predictably over-the-top wording to get a reaction out of said liberals.

Thanks to the 3 above posters for saving the rest of us time from having to quote their posts here.

Yup, LOL.

I mean, sure, you could point to a few individual liberals who are racist or say cringeworthy things, but to argue that liberals, on the whole, are the most racist? Yeah, that belongs in this thread.

Yep. This is 100% accurate. No surprise that the poster doubled down, nor that those 3 particular clowns defended his assertion, though.

Stay classy, jeez, LOL.

EDIT: Fridays are for being nice.  Obviously, Green Line's post was hyperbole, and when you dissect it as you did, it is obviously a falsehood.  At least IMO.  However, your posting it here, for whatever reason, read as you taking the assertion that there are plenty of racist White liberals as either "absurd" or "ignorant," which is why I defended his comment ... while I won't defend his exact comment anymore, that assertion I just addressed is neither absurd or ignorant, and I have seen the proof myself.

Margaret Sanger said much the same, and wanted to exterminate human weeds like the above. It's clear that the mentality hasn't changed in the slightest.
Well, someone should have listened to her.

Rename it, I say.  Supporting eugenics is worse than the dumb *** Wulfric says.

No because I don’t care about small towns anymore, if they want to matter then can move to the city/or suburbs.

At this point I think this thread should be renamed in  "honor" of Yellowhammer/Pickup Paulite.

Endorsed, what a troubled young man.

You’ve made it to the big leagues Paulite, congrats!

For all of your ideological flaws and edgy posts, I did believe you were morally and, equally as importantly, intellectually above neo-Confederate fantasies.

Anyway:

There is no moral difference between genocide denial and climate change denial.

I’m still confused as to why after all this time there’s still people that think Sanchez is kidding or “that’s not really him” when he makes posts like that. If it walks and talks and looks like a neo-Nazi it probably is, folks.
Not true. I haven't gotten the goose step perfected yet.

“They’re gonna call me X, so I’ll act like X because that’s how much I hate Y!”  Dude, you’re being as stupid as extreme pro-choicers who find themselves defending that doctor who literally murdered a newborn that was “accidentally” born because “muh pro-choice.”  Get a grip.

This comment made my head hurt.  Though saying Trump was to Clinton's left on economic issues takes the cake for dumbest claim of the sentence, the complete revisionism in which Adlai the Appeaser was ACTUALLY the social conservative against progressive-because-he-won-New-England-and-lost-the-Deep-South Eisenhower is underratedly dumb on its own.

Their conclusion is probably right (that he’s not a Christian) but their reasoning is wrong. I highly doubt that a highly successful gay liberal with a Harvard degree is actually a believer, but we’ll probably never really know

One of the truest Christians I know (i.e., actually living up to the teachings of Christ) is an extremely liberal gay man who just became a doctor, lol.

^ People aren’t simply parts of a math equation, dude.  Politician willingly ignores trends he doesn’t like (which is different from predicting them inaccurately, as I certainly did), but that doesn’t make trends worshipers right, either.  We aren’t going to have a map in 2044 that is 2016 trends drawn out another 25 years from right now.  That’s absurd.

How is it worshipping trends to use them to make a guess about how a county will vote?

It’s not, if you’re simply using them to make a guess and never forget that’s what it is.  It becomes an annoying problem when anyone who doesn’t agree with said guess on a given county is literally mocked and ridiculed by the barely distinguishable spammers on the 2020 board.

This whole thread goes into absurdity when computer and another  RINO pretend like white southern Democrats in the 1900’s were lefties and Vermont Republicans in power were normal conservatives like today

 https://talkelections.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=368864.0
bruh, what? do you seriously not realize that Vermont of 2020 is very, very different from where it was in 1920?
Don't tell me you believe in the 'PARTIES SWITCHED PLATFORMS' myth.

I believe that people changed their parties en mass, not their views, BRO

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/mortality

Yes, I’m not retarded, thanks. Obviously generational turnover played a role. But go ahead pretending that these people’s descendants’ views differed hugely from their views if you want to play revisionism

Trying not to be triggered rn. Please refrain from such language.

also, p sure it's "en masse".

It's kind of hilarious that people don't bat an eye at Millennials in the exact same area as Boomers having different political views ... but they simply cannot comprehend that a state can change its (plurality) political philosophy, haha.  *White Southerner* is not a static political term, even if certain values have been maintained.

(Not to mention the fact that literally nobody has said the simplified, strawman arguments like "White Southern Democrats were like liberals today" that have been assigned to those of us who point out flaws in a political narrative of the mid-Twentieth Century South's political transformation that is frankly unworthy of a junior high history class.)
