If the point here is that it's a good thing no Democrat - whether by dumb luck or the party's voters being morally superior - is put in the position of having to either abandon their preferred party or defend a "massive asshole," then I think many Republicans would agree with you and "trade" eagerly.

I guess blue avatars should be more like Landslide Lyndon and post articles making Democrats look bad FIRST, so when they point out a literal example of “both sides doing it,” people can’t just berate them with that tag line.
