The team is about to have 3 more of those in a row. I'd love to be proven wrong though.

No the blowout was more due to the Blazers playing garbage

I mean, it was close! Until it wasn't thanks 4th quarter...

The problem for the Blazers is their forward position , and how unreliable Aminu/Harkless/Turner are to score. Thanks to this the Warriors guarded Lillard with Draymond instead of Curry and unless the Forwards take advantage of the mismatch , Lillard will continue to be defended like this.

Lillard just needs to keep driving the ball to the basket IMO and get Draymond into foul trouble

CJ completely choked and blew this game and also the refs helped the warriors a lot . Draymond also should have been fouled out but refs as usual let him get away with it

Draymond slammed Lillard on the ground no call , but Curry jumps into a player 3 free throws. The warriors have to be babied by the refs over and over

Damn what a disappointing result. We should have stolen this game.

Yah CJ why did he have to play hero ball

I do blame the refs a little

Lillard gets hacked over and over and even got undercut but Draymond no call , Curry wails into our defender 3 free throws. The Warriors are the new Lakers , they get babied by the refs

Oh, please. Curry is fouled on nearly every three point attempt and it's like never called. Give me a break

LMAO He jumps and wails and gets the call everytime which is totally bs. Harden gets the same calls as well. The fact is Curry like Lebron and Kobe before him gets "superstar calls".

Draymond literally undercut Lillard with 3 minutes to go in the game and there was nothing called which would have fouled him out, Leonard was hacked on an alley oop attempt no foul call, and Lillard was hacked on the last play of the game as well and there was no call.

First off he doesn't get the call everytime like when his hand got injured against the Clippers and he most certainly doesn't get superstar calls. Bro that was a clean steal by Igoudala and Lillard pushed off of him with his arm.

The most egregious one was the one where Draymond literally undercut Lillard and didn’t get called . If he was called he would have been fouled out

First quarter and already 2 BS calls

- A clean block was called a goaltend and one
- Curry losing control of the ball called a foul

The warriors have to be babied as usual

"anything that doesn't benefit my team is a BS call"

That curry losing control call was the same exact play as Andre steal against Lillard last game .

Also those two plays the announcers said were bad calls as well

They over performed on hero ball and barely beat a good Nuggets team with no real experience. This was bound to happen, thought they could steal one, MAYBE two but I expect game four to be a 20-40 GS win.

The thing is we should be up 2-1, we just choked hard in both of these . We still should be only down 2-1 cause the refs did cost us the previous game but we still choked .

Scoring only 30 points in the 2nd half is embarrassing . Like come on we took the lead in both those games by playing team ball and in the 2nd half we changed to hero ball. And why don’t we give out hard fouls as well especially to  Draymond

So the damn warriors get lucky again , we should have splattered Draymond on the ground bad boy piston style last night

Another great game by First Ballot Hall of Famer: Steph Curry.

Thanks to the Warriors injuring Lillard.

This story makes me hate the Warriors even more than I already do

Alright, now you're just really whining.

Curry was playing the 2017 finals with an injured leg, and yet you just cite that series as "an example of why the warriors are overrated."

By your logic this series is just an example of why the Blazers are overrated.

Do you mean 2016 , well no not really . I respected the Warriors until they signed Durant and their actions over the past 3 seasons has just made me that the team even more.

Also the Cavs had Kyrie and Love injured in 2015 so you could say both series cancel each other out then(Warriors should have won in 2016 while the Cavs in 2015) . Also in the case of Curry he wasnt injured in the Cavs series while Kawhi and Lillard were injured directly by Warrior players

Idk who's going to win tonight yet, but it kills me how the Blazers were about three 6-point swings in the third quarter from sweeping the Warriors (we were only down by 6 after Q3 in Game 1, and we would have had G2, and probably G3, if not for the third quarter meltdowns).

Game 2 the refs clearly gave the game to the warriors

We should have given a hard flagrant to Draymond after the warriors injured Lillard in game 2

Imagine if we had a healthy Lillard

But you know it’s a trend with the warriors

Kyrie got injured against them in 2015
Kawhi In 2017
And Lillard this year

We should have retaliated once we found out they injured Lillard  . That’s what teams in the late 80s and early 90s did . And maybe we could have gotten Draymond mad enough after one of those super hard fouls  that he suspends himself

Mildly smug now reading this thread.

My predictions didnt take into account Lillard having a separated ribs injury

Please don't. The Warriors were down Iguodala, Cousins, and Durant. They shouldn't have been in a position to sweep but they did anyway.

Well we had no Nurk or and Lillard playing with a separated ribs injury which makes it extremely hard to play.

Thats 1.5/3 of our best players down while the Warriors still had 3/4 of their best players in.

Warriors will not win in 5 without Durant . The series with Portland would be tied 2-2 if Lillard didn’t separate his ribs and probably is a 7 game series .

Without Durant the Bucks and Warriors probably go 7 games as well
