The purpose of this Act, quite plainly, is to make the Regional Statute easier to navigate. As I discovered while writing the G.R.E.E.N. Act, the current structure of the Statute page (a chronological list of every bill, referendum, and initiative every debated in the Mideast) makes searching out legislation on a particular topic an unnecessarily tedious process. By establishing a second chapter containing only laws still in effect, sorted according to subject, we make it much easier for everyone to find applicable laws in a timely manner.
