And I thought liquidating the State dept would only lead to rounds of consulate closures and embassy "consolidations".
The most absurd thing about his statement is that he thinks 50 billion a year for State and foreign aid combined is "too much money", when that is less than the cost of the increase in Defense spending for this year. I guess it had to come from somewhere, and he's not going to dare fight Mattis for his cut.
It's almost enough for you to want Colin Powell to come back.
