I don't know. I Have been getting closer and closer to the point of saying the allegations are sufficiently credible enough for Fairfax to step aside, but first really wanted to hear Tyson Beyond a released press statement. I'm very disappointed she isn't doing that, but I understand her motivations.

If Tyson really is decline to address the situation further, I'm not sure I can support Fairfax having to resign, but I feel icky about it because Tyson's allegations appear to have at least some meat to them, so I feel icky about it.

The Virginia Democratic Party needs to take a united front approach at this point and condemn these allegations for what they are: the right throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks. This is a blatant coup attempt by a party facing extinction to keep its head above water. THAT is the message that we need to be conveying.

Blasey-Ford passed a lie detector test and her allegations were found to be true after an investigation. This woman in Virginia claims she forgot about being raped until she saw his picture in the paper and conveniently waited until a right wing blog posted the blackface picture to say anything about it. Good job by Fairfax with his latest statement. They need to start using the term coup d’état because that’s what this really is. We must hang onto power at all costs. We cannot let Republicans have the trifecta because of a couple bad pictures and two women being paid to say that Fairfax raped them.
