So, Republicans are technically at their all-time (or at least in modern times) high number of governorships right now (tied with the period between Justice switching parties and Murphy being inaugurated in NJ), right?

Sounds about right, yup.

Thrilled for Governor Gavin Newsom in a few hours. And that he finally decided to move into the historic Governor's Mansion. But I'm a little bit saddened over Jerry Brown's departure, because he has been the greatest governor in CA history. Thank you Governor Brown for your service.

Gretchen Whitmer looks even more presidential than Kirsten Gillibrand in that chair! Presidential material in 2024/28???

Yes, she's definitely one to watch. Maybe even VP in 2020, but that's most likely a bit early.

I'm curious how John Fetterman will be dressed for today's inaugural in PA. A tie?
