So, who fares well in a Dean vs. Lee race?  Is Lee the TN version of Brian Kemp?

Pence is so worthless, LOL.

It amazes me people think he has any pull whatsoever.
Hopefully his "magic" is equally useless in the Kemp vs. Abrams race.

I hope Abdul El-Sayed wins the primary. I like his platform, though I wouldn't be upset if Whitmer won. Everyone claiming he will lose in the fall sounds ignorant. People of color are tired of being told to wait. If Democrats and D-leaning Independents voters don't embrace him because of his religion that's their fault and they will suffer for it.
El-Sayed doesn't exactly inspire the type of momentum and energy that someone like say, your gal, does.

Whitmer wins Michigan.  Ugh, thank God we don't have to put up with Shri Thanedar telling us how to pronounce his name anymore.

Welp, there goes Michigan...Schuette just got a better shot at winning now thanks to a demotivated base.

I mean she'll probably pull it out, but it's probably gonna look like 2014 in reverse (maybe 2002 being kind) when it should've looked like 2006.

As for Ohio, it appears Balderson is gonna take it. It's a mini Pennsylvania '16 all over again.

What are you talking about?  Dem turnout in the primary is higher than Rep.

Whitmer is probably to the left of every other Democrat nominated for Governor so far this year except for Ben Jealous. That's the silliest part.
Even to the left of Abrams?

The way I see it, there are 4 branches of the D party at this point, Conservative, Liberal, Progressive, and DS.

What is a "Conservative"? People like Dianne Feinstein? Then i will have a very good laugh...
Anyone to the right of Joseph Stalin or Fidel Castro is "conservative."  Hell, to some of these people, Nicolas Maduro is probably "conservative."

Congratulations to the smug Moderate Heroes on Atlas for scoring the worst Democratic congressional delegation in the country.
Tulsi is a progressive.  You guys should be happy.

I hope the Connecticut Republicans get completely and utterly destroyed in November.
Lemme guess, they're hopping on the Trump Train?

If the GOP is doing this poorly in an ancestrally GOP state turned D like Connecticut, their primary numbers in Rhode Island next month are going to be toilet tier-worthy, I imagine.

Dems also seem to be doing pretty decently in the Trump Country rural counties that are starting to trickle in.

Hopefully there's a lot of Democratic vote outstanding in WI. As much as people say it doesn't matter, the GOP being at 56% of counted ballots thus far wouldn't be an optimistic final number for Democrats.
Yep, great news for Walker right now. Lean--->Likely R this November. So much for the tariffs helping the Dems here. WOW is delivering for the GOP as always.

I have bad news for you...check the vote totals again.
Oopsie. Lean R for now. Those are some good Milwaukee numbers for the Dems.

Fastest rating changes ever, lol.
Honestly, if LimoLiberal ever gets banned, I think Atlas has its newly designated wet blanket for Atlas Dems.

What was the 2014 primary vote share for Ds/Rs? Would be interesting to compare to this cycle.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wisconsin_gubernatorial_election,_2014

Dems won 57-43%, but that was primarily due to there being no real competition on either side.  Burke and Walker were pretty much shoo-ins.  Plus, it's important to remember that the Trump Effect hadn't started yet, so rural voters were still voting pretty Dem back then.

The fact that the Dems are trailing the GOP by only 8,000 votes or so in the WI-01 primary should give them hope of flipping the seat.

Per NYT, 43% of the vote is in with only 20 precincts left in WOW.  Dems down by only 10K votes total.  Dane hasn't even reported yet.  Whooosh what a night.

Dems have a 52K vote lead now that Dane just took a big dump in the vote totals.  And we haven't even gotten the three northernmost counties or all of the Driftless in yet.

One thing I think some people need to be reminded of is that primary electorates on a county by county basis more so reflect the traditional and historical nature of the county rather than how it votes in general elections. We may see a sort of return to 2012-like political geography in some 2018 races but to say 2016 was a fluke and that Republicans are no longer going to win the Midwest is just plain delusion.
That is true.  I mean, Tommy Thompson did rule Wisconsin with an iron fist for over a decade, then things swung to Doyle and the Democrats.  After that, things swung to Walker and the Republicans.  I think we'll be seeing the pendulum swing yet again.

BTW, welcome back!  How are things?

Next Tuesday will be the real test for the Blue Wave.  Florida and Arizona are crucial.

What is it about Levine that makes him appealing to SWFL?  He's the most passionate about gun control out of the five.  Baby Boomers and older X'ers (SWFL's main demo) are what's keeping the gun control movement from making truly significant strides.
