Howard Schultz, Mark Zuckerberg, John DELANEY. This is starting to look like my dream field.

Wasn't the early consensus that Biden only pretended to be interested in running because he wanted to stay relevant? I still believe that theory.

I'm totally on board with Hogan or whatever random Republican runs a hopeless campaign against Trump. Though it might backfire if the crazies start to think the primary challenge against Trump caused his loss. I actually think a primary challenge against Trump could be decently successful if well-funded and if the primary electorate looks more like the 2015 GOP primary voters than the current batch of voters who affiliate with the GOP. Sure, Trump will win but I can see a primary challenger winning 30-35% of the vote in a lot of states. The funding might be a problem. Despite Trump's war with the Koch's he has been cozying up to the GOP donor class (and they like most of his policies) so the donors might not want to alienate Trump by backing a hopeless challenge.

Julian Castro still seems intent on running, but no one seems interested:

Democrats salivating over AOC is proof that both parties have a volatile base that would embrace a Trumpian figure.

LOL, is everyone you don't like a Trumpian figure, even if they're a progressive 28 year old Hispanic female bartender?

Nope- I don't like Bernie or most congressional Republicans, but they're not Trumpian figures. What I mean by that are sensationalist figures who just spew bombastic, unrealistic platforms and act like children towards enemies, real and perceived, which imo AOC fits quite well.
What enemies is she antagonistic to? Medicare for All is unrealistic? K.

Joe Crowley. And a federal jobs guarantee is unrealistic. AOC clearly is a very proud DSA member and the DSA is pretty damn open about wanting to end capitalism in the future. Face it, AOC loves facts just as much as our crazies. The deplorablification of the Democratic Party has started. American politics will become even more dysfunctional, but atleast I'll have Schadenfreude Smiley.
