Yes, I do.

Clocks are always ubiquitous until you actually want to look at one to see what time it is. Then you're conveniently in a room/area with no clocks.

As for using your phone, you have to dig it out of your pockets. And given the trend toward relatively large phones and relatively snug-fitting pants, that's a rather cumbersome task compared to the less than one second it takes for your eyes to glance down at your wrist.

I also consider it rude to look at one's phone during a conversation with someone. It's easier to discretely check the time on your wristwatch (or theirs).

Yes. Mainly for style rather than time-telling though.

Both of these answers.  This is my everyday accessory:

I'm left-handed and wear it on my left wrist.  Is that 'wrong' somehow?  Huh

e: I also found out recently that apparently it's a fashion faux-pas or something to wear a belt from left to right, which I assume is also a left-handed vs. right-handed thing. Truly we are a persecuted minority.

wtf who even notices that kind of thing on another person?  (Simfan wouldn't count; he's not a real person.)

You wear it on your non-dominant hand/wrist, and I was under the assumption this was common knowledge.

That's just... weird though.  Why does this 'rule' even exist in the first place?

Well, the wrist watch began not as a fashion statement, but as a practical way of carrying a watch to use while doing other tasks with the dominant hand.  In that case, the best place to put a wrist watch is on the opposite hand.

But as soon as watches were designed to wrap around the wrist rather than be held in the hand, that rule ought to have died.

I've survived the last 20 years or so doing so without any issue...
