Rooting for Kaine. Not that I want him but Sanders should be on the list.

He really should, her challenge is to choose an ultra left winger from a swing state who can attract Sanders supporters. The only somewhat logical selection is Sherrod Brown.

If he becomes vice president, Kasich would fill Brown’s Senate seat.

Hmmm... Her choice is an ultra left winger governor or some sort of senator. Now it doesn't even have to be a competitive state. Merkley, Hickenlooper, or Perez, who isn't high risk.

I'm quite glad that Castro is being reported as off the list.  He has just about the worst possible gaffe for a campaign against someone like Trump:

"Joaquín and I got into Stanford because of affirmative action. I scored 1210 on my SATs"

You can bet that Trump would read that aloud for 3 months and call him Stupid Julian.  It would be absolutely brutal.

I doubt Castro is off the list. Or do you mean only Jacquin?

Some media observers think that'll be Castro for Hillary and Kasich for TRUMP. I like both. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/onpolitics/2016/05/05/john-kasich-julian-castro-trump-clinton-running-mates-odds/83974594/

Ah, yes. The media observers who said that your candidate never had a chance?

Kasich wouldn't agree to it.

He would. He's second term (term limited) governor. If he wants a chance to ever become president, it is the VP slot on the TRUMP train.

But Kasich has said multiple times that he wouldn't do it. What makes you think he'd suddenly change his mind?
He's a politician

To clarify a misconception here:

Despite Massachusetts having a GOP governor and Virginia having a Democratic one, Kaine as VP is more problematic for the Democrats than Warren as far as control of the senate goes. I think there's some dispute but it seems likely a McAuliffe appointment would be for one year before a 2017 special election Democrats would have a fairly hard time winning, and then the regular 2018 one. Warren could announce her intention to resign in July, forcing a special election before the end of 2016, that Democrats would be favored to win (2010 and 2014 notwithstanding). Also, if Trump won, pretty sure Warren could withdraw her resignation.

Good plan.
