Pence, Rubio, Ryan, Sasse, and Paul would all be good, too.

#NeverCruz: He is too far right to win a general election, would further damage the party, and was born outside the US (yes I make a big deal about that). Walsh is a weak candidate and poster boy for the alt-right (yuck), Baker would turn off a good part of the base, plus his SCOTUS justices probably wouldn't match my tastes (big issue for me).
