What do you think? Are last-minute write-in campaigns like the ones we are seeing from Oakvale and, less explicitly, from Jbrase positive because they can give elections an unexpected twist? Or do you think they are negative because they decrease the value of real election campaigns - after all if someone can be elected as a write-in candidate why even bother to campaign beforehand?
Discuss.
Surely a candidate who has succeeded in getting enough of the electorate to commit to their campaign has done an adequate job of spreading their message and can easily thwart attempts by others to win as a write-in.
