How is this affected now that the 12th Congress is no longer in session?

Looking into other funding means, since I have a feeling the usual suspect is going to pretend overriding paygo is a reasonable option (which he should keep in mind not only how irresponsible that is, but also the Senate passed paygo, so even if we skip it here there's no guarantees the Senate will be willing to do the same).

since the FAIR Act funding method would end up with a lot extra to it, we could always tack it to this bill too?

Amending Section 5, 24 hours for objections.

Is this meant to increase it an additional 1% or using the funding from the tax rate increase from a previous bill. The amendment should clarify to avoid confusion when budget time rolls around.

I don't see why this is necessary after I proposed using the funds generated from the FAIR Act.

Honourable Ladies and Gentlemen of the People's House,

Here is a revenue estimate for HB1276.

Section 6

Section 7

Sources

Conclusion: This bill would generate approximately 20.936 billion dollars in revenue. This would be enough to cover the 6.5 billion dollars in mandatory spending that this bill requires, in addition to 14.436 billion dollars left over in discretionary spending.

Regards,

Deputy GM HCP

Why not just use these funds since we are looking at 14.436 billion dollars left over?

Let's get some additional revenue we do have a large deficit after all.

We should use the above referenced prison savings plus the 1% here in place of the reckless 5% Defense cut proposed in your tax bill in the Senate.

Sounds like a fair compromise.
