Given Arnold's approval rating is only 41%, the Democrats definitely need a better candidate.

Huh?

You really think people are paying attention to a governor's race 9 months before the election? You really think the average Californian voter can tell you one thing about either Dem candidate?

Earlier polls showed rather high name recognition for both Democrats.  I haven't seen the internals of this (they won't load at school), but what are their name recognitions here?

44% had no opinion of Angelides and 57% had no opinion of Westly.
