hahahaha, this could end up being pretty funny. Of course, the President is free to submit whatever proposals he wishes in writing. But television as a medium is probably required to encapsulate the spectacle of Paul and Santorum or Perry and Romney squaring off.

Why didn't they just initially schedule it for the following week? Were his staffers really not cognizant of the debate? Now they lose the fight and Packers-Saints will siphon away viewers from the PR stunt.
