The Huckster is a likable guy in many ways, but like Condi Rice he is de facto retired from politics and even if he did ran he is too SoCon to be electable. So he has to go before the final.

Eliminate Haley

Also, the survivor really should be a SoCon.  Rick Santorum would be a great fit for the current state of the party Tongue  Huckabee would be the most logical remaining contender.

I doubt the rightwingers consider Huckabee to be conservative enough on economics, he has a populist streak. Isn't Haley kinda SoCon too?

I agree, but they'd probably prefer him to anyone else who's left.
