There is one video that shows he was encircled around the same time as the moron smirk kid stepped up to him, and later, as Phillips steps back, the moron smirk kid steps forward to remain in Phillips' face.

Philips lied when he claimed the kids chanted "build the wall" at him and his group, so his statements should not automatically believed. There is a nearly 2 hr livestream recording of the scene that came out last night and it's never chanted in it. At 1:12:00 in the video, there is space to the right of the group of students to walk up the stairs to the memorial, Phillips passes by and walks right into the group of kids.

Yet we have video of the entire thing, from an hour before Phillips got there to another half hour after it petered out, and no chant of "build the wall" in the video. Phillips lied.

It's clear to any sane person they were shouting slurs to people all day, and then targeted those kids while they were waiting for their bus to arrive. The kids decided to engage in school chants to drown out the racist and homophobic language being yelled at them. It was at that point that Phillips decided to crash their school chants by getting in the middle of them, and go up to the kids while banging his drum instead of going up to the nasty BHI men. It was Phillips who went to up to Nick Sandmann and raised a drum inches away from his face and banged it repeatedly white chanting. It was Phillips who in interviews has referred to the kids as beasts, and the BHI guys as their prey. It was the other Native American man with Phillips who told the kid who was born in this country to go back to Europe. Yet the media misrepresented what happened, claiming it was the kids who started it and were harassing the Native Americans, and it was people like you that basically called for their heads, while ignoring the actions and bigoted statements of others.

Again why are the students being given so much focus and receiving so much hatred when the other people in this story behaved much worse?

The BHI were seen at the start mocking the Native Americans and getting into verbal arguments with several of them. As the Covington kids began arriving at the steps for their meetup, the BHI guy yells at the Native Americans asking why are you arguing with us why don't you go after those MAGA hat wearing kids? This is important, because when the Native American group returns they don't go after the BHI guys but instead are lead by Phillips right into the kids group. The reason the kids were in the middle of doing a school chant was in reaction to the slurs being yelled at them from the BHI group. It was the Native Americans who then crashed the students school chant and dance, so they began dancing to the drumbeat. How are they supposed to know that when a Native American drummer crashes your school chant you're supposed to not dance or clap or try to sing along?

For people who are so aghast at the mocking of Native Americans, you guys have been real silent about the Black Hebrew Israeli guys who started this whole thing. Just watch the long video and see all the mocking insults they shouted at Native Americans. Much worse stuff than dancing to a drumbeat and chanting along. So why hasn't the media done several articles and spent hours of airtime talking about them? Why are people like you still going crazy over these teenagers, while ignoring the BHI guys?

And why are the Native Americans in this story getting a pass? There were racist comments coming from their group yet it's ignored by your side. The "Recon Ranger" Marine refrigerator mechanic that was stateside during the entire Vietnam War and went AWOL multiple times, and got discharged at the rank of private. But he's had no problem allowing people to assume he's a Vietnam Veteran many times in the past, not just a Vietnam Era Veteran. Also talked about being spit upon after returning from Vietnam in a past interview. Why was he given a platform and held up as some innocent victim of harassment at first, then as some courageous figure of peace after the initial story fell apart? The guy is a political agitator who lies all the time, and was caught lying about several parts of this specific incident. Why is the left leaning media covering up for this guy and doubling down on attacking these kids?

Secondly, what bad actions by the Native Americans are you talking about? At absolute worst, what's his name Phillips invaded the white Kids Safe space calmly chanting and drumming. So f****** what? What kind of white power notion does it take for that to suddenly legitimize those jackasses engaging in proud and overt racist mockery?

You just got so thoroughly beaten because you either didn't bother to watch the videos or you are purposely excusing racism because it's coming from persons of color. Nothing in my post is advocacy of any sort or racism or white power crap. When I first heard this story on twitter in my feed, I clicked on one of the trending topics and saw the first video I posted in this thread on page 1 that showed the original story of kids targeting Native Americans and harassing them was a lie. I tried to point it out to several of you guys right from the start that this was a fake news story. But many of you ignored me and now many of you look like fools.

Also, I never claimed all the kids were little angels or anything. My main concern was over Nick Sandmann, since he was the focal point at the beginning and receiving a ton of hate and threats when he actually didn't do anything wrong. I've admitted that maybe some of the other kids might have been culturally insensitive out of ignorance, but that is not racism, and that does not justify the anger and hatred and threats they are receiving. And I'm still curious why the blatant racism and lies from the other people in this story have been ignored?

There is a difference between blackface, a style of make-up used to represent a caricature of a black person, and painting your body for a blackout, which is done at sporting events. Those who use body paint don't always do the head, but it's not unheard of, and it's a far cry from a racist caricature of a black person. I can show you photos of other people doing it at sporting events if you want. The hand gesture is a play on 3 pt goggles, but instead of putting them against your face you raise your hands up, it is not a racist gesture. I can show you photos of professional NBA players doing it if you want. The rape comment was by one kid, and immediately after he says it you can hear someone say in the video "he doesn't go to covington."
