Barrow may win the most white voters out of Abrams and the Lt Gov.

I would think so too.

I’ve been on my way to Dahlonega today and have yet to see an Abram’s sign.

Well I guess she will lose by 40 points then

Hopefully so.

LOL. My first thought when I saw the uptick in white participation, but I am not pressing the panic button yet. Kemp has been getting raked over the coals the past week, maybe his people are just anxious to get their vote off their chest. Abrams' field program is not letting their foot off the gas and she has enough money along with PACs supporting her to match him pound for pound on television.

What has Kemp done to be getting raked over the coals? The whole voting situation I'm guessing?

Abrams is coming back to Dalton tomorrow, and is also visiting Rome, Cartersville, Hiram and Douglasville tomorrow as well. I'm not going to be able to attend (unfortunately we're scheduled for noon) but I'm hoping it's a great crowd. Should be able to get some photos and the like of the event.

Where in Rome is she visiting?

So apparently Stacy Abrams burned the state flag during a college protest.

Do you Abrams people think she has a better chance to win outright on Election Day or in a runoff?

CNN has Kemp up 51.0-48.1% with 99% of the vote in.

Will we be getting any more votes reported today? Any idea how many is left?

Both SoS and the media seem to agree on what's left: approximately 20-25k at this point, with 80% or more being provisionals, around 10% being civilian VBM and another 10% military ballots.

Democrats are claiming everything from unopened mail ballots in some ATL counties to votes blowing in from Hurricane Michael. However, this doesn't appear to be true.

In the last midterm, only one quarter of GA provisionals ended up being counted. In 2016, that number was 45%. Whatever is counted will break 2:1 in favor of Abrams (or more, possibly). Expect the margin to shrink by another 2-5k votes.

Is there a deadline or something for when these votes have to be counted?

I've been looking at results on the Georgia SOS page... any idea why turnout for Lt. Gov. was so much lower than for all the other statewide races?

Abrams should never concede an election that was stolen by the GOP. This was a fraudulent election where voters were purged from the ballots! Kemp should be a prisoner, not a governor elect! Bourdeaux shouldn't concede either!

Yawn.

Why does people liking a candidate bother you?

It’s not liking them that bothers me. It’s the obsession that many people seemed to have. The earlier pages of this thread are much worse.

I think it's the historic nature of her candidacy.  Plus, she had a very likable charm.  The fact that she was scandal-free, unlike the man running for governor directly to her south, was also a positive for her.

I believe you're right about most of this. I just got sick and tired of every move she made being covered extensively in this thread and the extreme confidence that many seemed to have.

I thought you would like John Barrow. He is a great guy. Not sure why an "Indy" is supporting Brad.

Honestly, I don't mind Barrow. I just have been really turned off by how sore of a loser many Abrams supporters have been after the election.

I mean that's fine (Abrams took too long to concede), but that shouldn't carry over to who you support for SoS. Barrow is considerably different from Stacey Abrams.

You're totally right about that. Without the fiasco that followed the election, I likely would have supported Barrow. But all of it has really turned me off from the GA Dems, not necessarily Barrow himself.

Abrams met with Schumer and Cortez Masto yesterday about running for Senate. I don't see her saying no to DC

I see the voters saying no to her going to DC.
