Video:

Imagine Mike buying Fox ($22 billion market cap)   Angry

I just saw a Bloomberg ad which states that he's the "only one in the race never to have taken a penny from special interests." And I burst out laughing. The tenth-wealthiest person in the country doesn't need special interest money; he is a special interest (i.e. Everytown for Gun Safety).

Mike's a goon and I cannot wait for him to spend all his money just to lose badly to Bernie. He and Donald truly represent the soulless, corrupt establishment that Bernie's entire campaign is against.

What's worse is that Bloomberg isn't even entertaining. He's a horrible debater and his performance proved to everyone that he's a wannabe oligarch without the skills to even win a primary. All he knows about elections involves throwing money at voters hoping he can eek out wins.

Bloomberg is a plutocratic monster, and I would argue that he is worse than Trump in that respect, given that he is many times wealthier than Trump and is the former Mayor of New York City. One thing that continues to vex me is how he managed to dupe so many black voters into supporting him. His record on stop and frisk alone should have been damaging to his chances.

He is indeed. And I just saw yet another Bloomberg ad, in which he has several women who worked for him at his business or in his mayoral administration, testifying to his "respect for women", his efforts to promote them and to reward them, and the fact that he was raised by a "good woman", his widowed mother. I was once again in a fit of laughter. Bloomberg's strategy seems to be, in response to what has been said about the nondisclosure agreements and his harassment of women, to say that "See! I'm not a sexist! I have 15 women here who can testify that I am a gentleman!" Each of those women was paid a handsome sum to "testify" and appear in the ad on his behalf.

‘I Like This Candidate Now And Will Vote For Him,’ Says Area Man After Having To Watch 12th Bloomberg Ad In Single Day

Quote
LEWISTON, ME—Announcing his newfound support for the former New York mayor, local Democratic voter Lucas Butterfield calmly stated, “I like this candidate now and will vote for him,” after seeing a Mike Bloomberg ad for the 12th time in a single day, sources confirmed Thursday. “The ninth ad didn’t really convince me, and I was on the fence for the 10th and 11th, but once I had seen my 12th commercial since waking up this morning, I suddenly realized Mike is the candidate for me,” said Butterfield, who explained that he had initially opposed the former Republican’s candidacy, but after the day’s encounter with a dozen print, TV, radio, billboard, and autoplaying digital ads, it now seemed obvious to him that Bloomberg was “the only man for the job.” “I like Mike. Mike is my candidate of choice. I will go to the polls and cast my ballot for Mike, and I will tell all my friends to vote for Mike too. I support Mike Bloomberg for president in 2020. Only Mike can get it done.” At press time, sources confirmed the man was speaking Bloomberg’s name over and over again with increasing urgency while he repeatedly walked into a wall.

Earlier today, I was watching Judge Judy, and a Bloomberg ad was run twice during the program's duration, featuring Judge Judy speaking at a Bloomberg rally and talking with Bloomberg himself. I find it hilarious that Bloomberg is touting an endorsement from the most prominent TV judge. I almost keeled over at the sight of the ad.

God he really is just plain awful. What an entitled scumbag.

I saw Bloomberg's interview with Scott Pelley on 60 Minutes, and part of the interview was conducted in his childhood home, which he still owns (though I highly doubt that he actually lives there-he probably holds on to the home for publicity purposes). And he comes across as arrogant and snobbish, just with his manner of speaking. He obviously believes that the world revolves around him, that he is the savior the Democratic Party needs, and that he is entitled to the Presidency (i.e. he's been "preparing for the job" for 20 years and no one else has the experience necessary to handle it, ignoring that Joe Biden has been in public office for over half a century and was Vice President!).

What pisses me off about Bloomberg so much is that he claims credit for 911 recovery.

That was ALL Giuliani and Pataki. Not him. I've roleplayed in election games as Rudy Giuliani more than 3 times and I know plenty about how he blunted the impact of the attacks. Bloomboy was only riding on his coattails.

Had Giuliani not disgraced himself with the Ukraine quagmire, he would still have a very high reputation with broad swaths of people, especially on this forum.

Wrong.  He's been off the deep end very publicly ever since campaigning for Trump in 2016.

I'll concede that Giuliani has been a staunch ally of Trump for several years now, but in my view, Ukraine has permanently ruined his reputation, far beyond anything else which he has said or done in that time.

Bloomberg crashed and burned tonight. That is indisputable. I despise Elizabeth Warren, but I do give her credit for ripping into Bloomberg at the debates. It's clear that she dealt his campaign a mortal blow. Bloomberg needs to drop out and endorse Biden at this stage, just like Warren herself must drop out and endorse Sanders. Moderates and progressives ought to consolidate behind Biden and Sanders, the only two candidates who have a chance of winning the Democratic nomination now.

This has been the most pointless campaign in modern political history. Yes, more so than John Delaney's.

Bloomberg spent half a billion dollars, and did terribly. This primary also helps to show, once again, that money is not all, which we saw in 2016 as well, with Clinton vastly outspending Trump and yet still losing.

I'm just seeing this now. This is a game-changer. I expect for the vast majority of Bloomberg's voters to move over to Joe Biden now, and to give him the decisive edge over Sanders.
