OSR,
I think the Grand Jury did the right thing! Mister Trump needs once and for all realize that he isn't above the Law.

However I think that this Indictment is only a prelude of what's to come. I think Garland and the DOJ will charge Trump too since he delibirately told his Attorneys to lie when it comes to the classified Documents.

Well , hopefully he is charged over Jan 6th soon .
I think Garland will charge him either over January 6th or the classified Documents. What do you think?

National Review FINALLY speaks out what many DeSantis, Haley Supporters and other Anti-Trump People are thinking: The Alvin Bragg Case is just the beginning of Trumps Legal Woes.

In a few months the Bragg Case will be considered the "Good Old Days for Trump". That's why nominating him in 2024 would be a complete malpractice.

https://www.nationalreview.com/2023/04/gop-beware-braggs-case-is-just-the-start-of-trumps-legal-jeopardy/

Fulton County will not only possibly indict Trump but his allies as well NYT Maggie Haberman is reporting.

possibly within a month.

^The walls are still closing in. They must have been really far apart to start with.

Maybe next year
Trump will be put out of business for good. And to be honest I wish the Atlanta Jury would charge you personally as well for spreading false Information after the 2020 Election + other people on Talk Elections who spread false Info about the 2020 Election as well.

NBC NEWS is reporting that Fulton County District Attorney Fanni Willis will bring charges this Summer in Georgia Election Probe.

Conclusion: Trump will be indicted for a 2nd Time this year and I would not be surprised if it happens before the 1st Debate.

Let's be clear here: I don't like to defend Trump but this Trial is a complete waste of time and joke. Alvin Bragg should have never brought this forward.

There are other Trials who will be far more consequential, if they happen, compared to this one.

Expect Trumps Poll Numbers to go up because this Trial is a Scam!

This line of thinking makes no sense. So we should just not hold him accountable in one space because there will theoretically be options to hold him accountable somewhere else?

Trump committed a crime here. He needs to be held accountable, whether you think the case is valid or not.
The case is not valid! It's a joke! Expect Trumps Lawyers filling for mistrial in the first few Days of it!

Two-thirds of registered voters say Trump’s hush money charges are serious
Reuters/Ipsos poll finds one-quarter of potential Trump voters say they would not vote for him if he was serving time in prison

Quote
Ahead of former President Donald Trump’s trial next week, the latest Reuters/Ipsos poll finds that nearly two-thirds of registered voters (64%) say the charges—for allegedly falsifying business records around hush money to Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal during the 2016 presidential election—are serious, including 36% who say they are very serious. Registered voters share similar concerns around the other three criminal charges against Trump, including allegedly soliciting election fraud, pressuring Georgia state officials to overturn the presidential election, and illegally removing classified documents from the White House and keeping them at a private home after leaving office. About seven in ten say each of these additional charges is serious, and at least half say each charge is very serious.

https://www.ipsos.com/en-us/two-thirds-registered-voters-say-trumps-hush-money-charges-are-serious

Hard luck. The left-wing Quinnipiac begs to differ. Nearly 2/3rds of Americans say the charges are politically motivated, including 70% of indies.

Even 29 % of Democrats say its purely "Politics".

BOTH, DA Alvin Bragg & NY AG Letitia James campaigned on quote "Getting Trump" unquote. For this reason alone the Trial should be dismissed.

Bragg has a very weak case anyways. There are other Cases where I wholeheartedly support a Conviction of Trump like the Docs & J6 Cases but not in this one.

2/3 Registered Voters in a new NPR/Marist Poll say Guilty Verdict would have no impact on their Preference when it comes to voting this November.

This is a garbarge Trial.

Meanwhile FOX Jonathan Turley says the re-read of the Cohen Testimony helped both sides and this is not a Slam Dunk anymore for the Prosecutors and that Clown DA Alvin Bragg.

Slighty off-topic, but I wonder whether this we would even be at this stage with a Republican governor? Honestly, if either Zeldin was elected or if this was in Florida under DeSandwich's watch, I believe they would already have issued a pardon or amnesty for Trump because the indictment/trial is a "hoax". Yet another reminder that voting actually matters and elections have consequences. Always important to keep that in mind.

Governor Ron DeSantis without question would've had this case tossed and he would've also removed Bragg from his post as DA and probably try and get him disbarred. If I were governor, I would've done the exact thing if such a case were brought in my state. I've said before all the problems I have with this case and I am in agreement with numerous legal experts who say this should've never been brought.
Governor DeSantis would have fired Bragg no doubt about it just like he did with these "Rogue Attorneys" like Warren and Monique Worrell.

When a Newspaper like the Wall Street Journal who is massivly critical of former President Trump during his entire 2024 Run says that he should be acquitted that should give people some pause.

One minute you hate Trump, the next minute you are simping for him. Make up your mind.

If he hadn't broken the law he wouldn't even be on trial. Don't blame the prosecutor ("HOW DARE THAT BLACK PUT TRUMP ON TRIAL!!!").
You are a LIAR and flat out lying here. It said from the beginning that in this case Trump should not be convicted and the NY Case should have never been brought.

I can do distinctions between the NY Case and the J6, Docs, GA Case and you simply can't. You are just a follower and do whatever these brainwashed News Organizations like MSNBC tell you to do.

Have your own opinion on different cases! It helps! I said numerous times Trump should be convicted in the other 3 criminal cases.

Quote
Former Deputy Assistant Attorney General John Yoo says the case against former President Donald Trump "opens the door" for other presidents to be prosecuted in the future on the "flimsiest of charges."

"The very weakness and the flaws in this case open up the door for any DA in the future to sue presidents on the flimsiest of charges. That's the real problem," Yoo said during a Thursday appearance on Fox News Channel. "It's never been a problem, it seems to me, to prosecute a president, but if you're going to prosecute a president it'd have to be for something serious, dangerous to the national interests. All the witnesses and the law ought to be air tight."

"Instead, we've seen this kind of free-wheeling prosecution, where witnesses have been paraded through, who had nothing to do or [were] really irrelevant to the legal charges," he added.

Yoo said it's still unclear exactly "what the legal crimes here are" as it relates to Trump's trial.

I have nothing more to be added here. Yoo is right. What Bragg did and is doing is downright dangerous.

If Trump gets elected President, can he have the conviction overturned?
Only in State Court. He cannot overturn it himself because it's a State Issue unfortunately. And NY State is corrupt.

However, if elected President, he would be immune from execution of state sentences.

Ron DeSantis is still the best Governor of this Generation. We could have had him as President. I feel even more sad not seeing him as Republican Nominee. He knew this was coming! He warned everyone about it.

I've changed my Signature to "StillwithDeSantis" Smiley

And I feel vindicated supporting Ron DeSantis during 2023 and the early part of 2024.

Question, why the red avatar if you like RDS? The man is leaps and bounds more conservative than Trump and much more a down-the-line Republican
Red Avatar = Because of some Rogue Trump Supporters.

A couple lying hack Republicans saying it does not make it true.

They are consistent on this. Susan Collins isnt pro Trump either so this is an actual belief the GOP has . This is a massive break from decades of American precedent and that is not good.

If it's possible I'm sure Susan Collins has melted the pearls with all her clutching. She's a lying hack even if she claims she isn't pro Trump, and why should anybody believe her on that given that she's a lying hack.

The precedent itself is bad and Trump exploited it well passed the breaking point. However, this conviction doesn't even have anything to do with Trump in office.

When Richard Nixon said 'when the President does it, that means it isn't illegal' he was roundly condemned. This isn't a precedent worthy of respect.
If you were smart you would go to YouTube, search Alvin Bragg Campaign Spots or Ads and you would see that he exclusivly said in those Spots that quote "If you elect me, I prosecute Trump" unquote.

And Letitia James did the same thing in her Campaign Spots when she ran for Re-Election in 2022.

When you do these kind of things how can you be impartial then?

Myself, OSR, etc. We ain't dummies.
