Mittens knows how to defend himself,, and managed to mention Newt's moon adventure.

The debate is good because the mods don't say much, and are asking questions that induce the candidates to try to distinguish themselves. Bachmann keeps having these nice little talking points, but then she gilds the lilly, and gets out on a thin branch, which is then easily cut off. Perry is actually getting reasonably coherent in his superficial way. If he had started out this way, and then got better ... ? Santorum is having a good night.
All in all, so far, Mittens must be rather suffused with joy.
